Located on five beautiful acres fronting the North Fork of the Colorado River just three miles south of the historic town of Grand Lake, our rustic log cabins and Reunion Bunkhouse are available year round. The authentic log cabins, some dating back to the early 1930's, have been newly restored and renovated with hardwood floors, gas log fireplaces, 32" flat screen satellite TVs, fresh linens, modern kitchens and bathrooms and beautifully appointed decor. All have stunning views of the river and mountains. The rustic wood decor and intimate lodge atmosphere of the Reunion Bunkhouse provides the perfect Colorado mountain setting for family reunions, wedding parties, church groups and small corporate retreats. Dogs welcome!

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here in mid October and loved it. We spent two nights in the Alpenglow cabin. Our cabin had a comfy king sized bed, small kitchenette and gas fireplace. We were able to hire a guide to do some fly fishing right behind our cabin, it was so fun! If you are looking for cozy, rustic, clean, and a beautiful backdrop this is your place!

I stayed at Lulu's Place, a nice rustic cabin. It's spacious, with good equipment. The grounds are lovely, the owners very friendly (free homemade cookies). Comfortable bed, overall a very nice stay. Since it's seperate cabins, I finally had a good night sleep, with no noise, after all those overpriced motels with no soundproofing in places like Ouray. Only 2 drawbacks : the wifi didn't work for my phone (no idea why, it did work for my laptop) and heating this place up is a challenge. Only small space heaters, while it was 25° F/ -4° C at night. It did the trick, but those heaters are pretty noisy. I wonder how they do it in winter.

First time staying at CCA and we will definitely be back! Dan and Jessica are fantastic hosts. The cabins are a neat blend of historic with nice, modern updates. Very comfortable, very clean cabins all the way around, reasonably priced for the area. Check them out, you’ll be glad you did.

We recently spent 4 nights in Paintbrush, the first cabin past the office. It had everything we needed and was in excellent condition, furniture comfortable and newer, bedroom had queen bed, nightstands and dresser, kitchen fully equipped, bathroom had nice stone tile shower, and living room included a leather couch and chair, coffee table, gas fireplace, TV, and high top table/chairs for 2. Back porch has a picnic table and two chairs and small table and looks out at the river and mountains. I was initially disappointed we were the closest to the road (US Highway 34) since we were the first cabin and there was some traffic noise during the day but once we settled in it was not bothersome and the beauty and river sounds, bird watching became the focal point. After hiking and on our 'down days' it was an absolutely serene setting for reading and enjoying the environment. A special treat was a visit from the managers son with a gift of freshly baked 'cabin cookies'. There were plenty of good food options in Grand Lake just a short drive away and but we particularly enjoyed two restaurants close by the opposite direction on US 34, Mustachios and Stillwater Grill.

We are so happy to hear your stay with us was enjoyable. Paintbrush is a perfect cabin for couples-especially with your own private deck out back! Yes, during peak daytime travel times, Hwy 34 can be a bit noisy-at night we are lucky to have the sounds of the river fill the air. Thank you for the wonderful words-please come again! Warmly- Dan & Jessica

We recently stayed 2 nights in the Homesteader cabin with our 9 month old and the trip was wonderful! Cabin was spotless and cozy with everything we needed - including a complimentary pack n' play. Nothing beats the private backyard and sound of the river. Location was great (just a short drive to town or short walk to a park). Wonderful hosts. Definitely recommend! We went to a hotel in Estes Park afterwards and immediately wished we were back at the cabin! Thanks for a great trip!

So happy to hear your family enjoyed your stay with us! Homesteader is a great little cabin for families-we try to provide as much as possible to make your family trip easier! We are so lucky to have beauty all around us, 360* mountain views and fantastic wildlife. Yes, we are a bit quieter on this side vs. Estes- ;)....just part of what drew our family here as well. Hope you and your wonderful little family will return soon! Thank you for the kind words-

Yes, they have two 2 bedroom cabins and one 3 bedroom. If you look on their website under lodging it tells about each cabin and the amenities they have.
