This is a wonderful, homey place with a great rustic feel. The decor was very unique and inviting. We enjoyed the city, quick drive to the lake for boating, fishing out the back door, campfire, and having picnic dinners out back. There was some problem with the internet access, but the staff tried to work with us. I've seen others... More

I am almost scared to review this placed based on prior retorts, but at $438 for two nights I am going to. First of all, I LOVED the decor. We were in Fort Moose and it couldn't have been cuter. Everywhere you looked there was something awesome, inside and out. I imagine the same holds true for all of the... More

Arrived at property and first impression was property was run down and not maintained. Not as advertised on website. We arrived at our cabin, Country Club, and had to lift door to get it to open. We started to unload our luggage and noticed pungent odor of burnt marijuana coming thru windows. I contacted the owner and told her about... More

We loved staying at your cute cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were so soft. Thank you so much for allowing our dog to stay with us! It meant the world to us. The view of the mountains the the canal behind the cabin was very peaceful. I loved walking our dog there in the morning. It... More

Congratulations on your 30th anniversary! (We're right behind you!) We're honored that you (and your dog) chose to spend it here! We've switched our bed sheets to microfiber and most of our blankets, too. They're incredibly soft! It's a bonus for us that they dry quickly, saving energy and helping us reach our goal of becoming a Green Leader Certified... More

Thank you!! We have so much fun changing up the decor, making silly signs and having something new for our guests each time they come. We do our best to anticipate the needs of our guests and meet them with thoroughly and consistently stocked rooms. We stay in each of our units on occasion in order to make that happen.... More

Loved our stay here. The rooms are adorable and we had plenty of space for 2 adults and a 12 year old. It feels like camping but with all the nice things like a kitchen, bathroom and comfortable bed! The property is just far enough outside of town to be very quiet and peaceful. Great bird watching and fishing right... More

We decided to get out of town for black Friday. The "Ranch" cabin was such a fun cabin we decided to stay a second night 10 minutes after check in. Close enough to the Christmas tree lighting but far enough away from the bustle. We will be back! Thanks Doug!

You are so welcome! The units do have fun decor and each one is different. Some guest find one they like and stay there each time. For others, it's a little adventure to try a different one out on every trip. More

clean lodging in the grand lake area (gets two stars just for clean) We was expecting more for that price point. It's right near the highway, so it isn't a peaceful oasis. It is rustic, but also needs some attention (like tightening door handles and shower heads, etc.). The website makes it look nicer than it is.

We're glad you enjoyed the cleanliness of the property- It's our highest priority! We believe (and so do most guests) that our prices are reasonable when one considers everything that's included;Kitchenettes require much more time to clean than standard hotel rooms. There are also fireplaces, campfires, grills, an herb garden, all linens and cookware, access to a second property, free... More

Just the right amount of tacky and kitch for the room decor, reminds you that you aren't at the office. Walking distance to one restaurant, otherwise you are taking a car everywhere. We enjoy this place they are consistent, affordable, and pet friendly. There is a canal right behind the place for some fishing. They have firewood for sale for... More

Love it! Most of the decor in the units was done by a pair of very talented former owners. He made the log furniture inside and out and she sewed- curtains, quilts, even potholders. What really amazes us though, is that so much of the decorating ideas they had 20 years ago are showing up all over Pinterest now: corrugated... More
