The room was more expensive than I remember and breakfast was a bit weak - white bread and bagels for toast, cereal, and instant oatmeal. There was nothing fresh or healthy so we were disappointed that there was no fruit or eggs.
Breakfast mediocre and very unevironmentally friendly polystyrene plates and plastic cutlery no option to recycle anything. Buffet style which in covid times needs sanitiser in the breakfast room with everyone handling utensils there was none to be seen.
Noisy guests and children running up and down the corridors and parents who can't control them.
Previous guests tooth floss found in the shower
Laundry service nothing short of appalling 1 washing machine and 1 dryer to service all the guests in the hotel was a constant battle to get to use the machines. This was very stressful beyond belief when as a business traveller you use the weekend to sort your laundry for the following week.
If I could rate the place a zero I would

When I got to the room, it was freshly made, clean, and comfortably at 72F. The WiFi worked surprisingly well that evening and the next morning. Pillows were comfortable and sheets looked freshly laundered. I had asked for a quiet room if possible as it was so late and I just needed somewhere to sleep until checkout. I slept like a baby that night. The TV was a bit limited in channels (maybe 15-20 at most) but I had my iPad and laptop for any sort of entertainment.
The front desk was incredibly kind that evening and recommended some local restaurants as I was starving and just wanted to relax after 7 hours of driving without caving into a fast food binge.
Morning breakfast was the usual affair, and I ended up at it a bit towards the end - but there was still plenty of food to eat and fuel up for the next leg of the trip.
The work desk was great, and chair was surprisingly comfortable. I was at least able to do a little work before turning inf for the night.
If I really had any complaints, it's that there was no rhyme or reason to what light switches turned off what. One would turn off the hall and bedside lights, one another set. I eventually figured it out but was so confused as to why the hall switch turned off the bedside lamps. Small beans in the end. Also, the "Do Not Disturb" sign is more of a tag (the green thing on the dresser) that you have to stick in the card slot.
Thank you to the staff in Grand Junction for making what was a stressful and upsetting day, a lot better.
The rooms are a good size and everything worked perfectly.
The staff was also super attentive.
The breakfast is basic, typical American.
Large parking is included in the price.
The hotel has good value for money.

However, as with too many hotels, there is no way for guests to recycle.
Breakfast was substantially better than other restaurants with an attentive and friendly lady continually replenishing the food/drinks. Would recommend.
