We stayed in one of the cabins and it was perfect for our family of 4. We actually over packed as they had everything we needed right at our fingertips. Loved the pool, miniature golf, and outdoor movies. Plus for $4 you can rent peddle bikes similar to go carts and cruise around the campground. The staff here went above... More

A nice KOA. The staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in. We stayed one night as we were just driving through. The facilities were nice and clean. We had a nice grassy area near us to walk our dog.

People were very nice upon checkin. The general store had about the same items most KOA stores have. I had forgotten my soap dish/plastic container, I was surprised they didn't have any, I made do with a 6 egg container which worked fine. There are a couple of nice restaurants around, and a nice Eagles and Elks Lodge.

We pulled into Grand Junction, CO KOA without calling ahead needing a tent site for the night. They did not have any available but gave us an RV site for tent price. They were super friendly and had a food truck there for the evening. We had been traveling awhile and I ended up doing laundry, the facilities were very... More

After a truly long drive from Nevada, we pulled into this KOA at around 3:30pm and were impressed from the start. Check in was a breeze and the girl at the counter was very helpful and friendly, which hasn't always been the case at other KOAs we have been to across the United States. We decided to extend our stay... More

Although the young husband and wife couple who ran thus were both exceptional the campsite is not very nice. There is little grass or shade. It was kind of a run down place but the bathrooms were clean and showers fine. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised by this nice park. Super clean, we had a deluxe patio site and it even had a gas grill to use, which looked brand new. Very nice staff, wifi good, free mini golf and game room.

Stayed one night before heading to family in Grand Junction. Clean & friendly. Was a great place for us due to location and ease. Next door to fairgrounds, which might appeal to some depending upon events. It was quiet when we were there. Nice dog run. Not large but adequate for our two Newfs :). Would return.

Stayed here for just one night but was totally impressed with the campground. Totally clean, well maintained and beautiful. All sites were well marked and well thought out. Staff friendly and helpful. Family owned and operated and it shows!

So nice to find a spacious, clean KOA. The ones back east are so crowded. This one had room between the units. Quiet park, even though there was a lot of overnighters. We stayed two weeks here to visit the outdoor attractions. Great ownership, helpful staff when checking in and maintenance people were on top of the park constantly. Even... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This Western Colorado KOA campground is centrally located between the high desert and hiking trails of the Colorado National Monument and the tree-shaded lakes of the Grand Mesa, featuring fishing, ATV and hiking trails, and moose, elk and deer hunting. Nearby, mountain bike trails in all directions offer terrain very similar to Moab without the crowds. The Colorado River offers rafting from "mild", 2-hour trips to "WILD" full-day trips; you can even catch a horseback ride! Bring your rod and reel, because great trout fishing is just a short drive away from the campground. ... more   less
