Our experience here was wonderful, from making reservations to checking out. When I made reservations, they credited our deposit from our last year's aborted visit (due to COVID). They didn't have to do that! On checking in, we had missed the wine tasting. Oh, well. But no, Brittany called over to her husband who brought a flight of wine to our room for us to enjoy at our leisure. Wow! The Chateau is charming. They've done a nice job. Our room was very nice. Big. A king bed, two bed tables, a set of chairs in the corner for reading, a table and chairs for eating on and a wardrobe. Big bathroom area. Quite comfortable. Breakfast was quite well done. In this day of COVID, they had a novel approach. They provided a daily order form with all their breakfast offerings (a hot dish daily plus a host of other breakfast items). A tray with our food was available at the time requested. The Chateau has both an inside and outside eating area. Bright and sunny. We just loved our time here. And rather inexpensive too. A bonus.…
Rude, poor customer service. We are visiting from out state, stumbled on the sign to the winery. Walked in at 517 and receptionist did not allow us to go in, since the last tasting is at 515. The website mentioned 530 for last tasting. Disappointing.
This is beautiful area, and I was glad to include Two Rivers on my bike trip. Lovely gift shop, enjoyable tastings, and I took home a barrel stave gift to my wife. If you have a chance to drop by, it's one of the nice stops in Grand Junction.
We stopped here for a visit (didn't stay the night) and thought it was really nice and classy. The gentleman who helped us was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. We were driving by after visiting Colorado National Monument and glad we did. The winery appears very new and offers overnight stays. The cost for many different samples was very reasonable (I think it was something like $3 or $5) and you got to keep a glass. They offer assorted cheeses & meats samples to eat along with the wine samples at a reasonable charge also. The area around the buildings is beautiful and we would stop here again if we visit this area. We did buy a couple of bottles to take home and from the other 4 wineries we visited this was our favorite.
We enjoyed a 2 night stay here. The staff is stellar! The rooms are showing their age a bit. We were pleased the room was very clean. They have had to change up their breakfast routine and they managed this well. We appreciate we had the option to enjoy breakfast in our room or one of many outdoor patios. We appreciate how quiet the rooms are. There were quite a few other guest here and we never heard them. The complimentary wine tasting was nice. It’s self guided due to COVID-19 - we get it, but prefer interaction. The wines themselves seem to lack flavor.
