One word is enough to describe the holidays at Drowsy Water Ranch - AMAZING! The Fosha family makes you feel welcome, they make their ranch into your own "home away from home" . The minute you enter you are being taken care of; the family together with some 25 wranglers pamper you all through your holidays. There are plenty of... More

Big thanks to the Fosha family for what was our second visit in two years to the ranch. This time we took our parents in addition to our three boys. They all loved it and kids loved returning. We didn't think it could possibly be as good as first time but was. Thank you for our favorite holiday destination from... More

This ranch is as good as the reviews suggest. The business is truly family run. The owners cook, sing, hike, play the guitar, and teach horseback riding. Their hard work, honesty, and ethics permeate the young staff who are very well trained. Our family ranged from 60's to our children in 30's to grandchildren aged 5 and 7. None of... More

I've never experienced a staff where EVERYONE from dishwasher to head wrangler was so friendly, helpful, professional and such a joy to be around. We had the great pleasure of going on two rides with Ian...an actual singing cowboy. Ian regaled us with great stories, interesting facts and the arias as we bushwhacked our way through the beautiful countryside....doesn't get... More

This was our second visit and it was as good as our first. Never in my life do I head home as recharged as I do while also greatly anticipating our return visit. When Ken, Randy Sue, Justin, and Ryan say we are guests at their home, they mean it. Staff is first class.

Drowsy Water Ranch is a fantastic vacation resort for those that would enjoy the Colorado Mountains, trying out horseback riding, meeting new people, being hosted by a truly warm and likeable family, and getting away from the electronic umbilical cord we and our kids have become shackled to. Each week they limit the guests to 40-55 people so that the... More

Howdy! Thanks for the great review of the ranch. Fantastic folks like you and your son are what make the ranch a fun, energetic and special place to visit. Hard to not list names on a manager's response to a review since we know all of our guests but we have enjoyed watching your son grow and always look forward... More

Upon arrival I was surprised by a few things. There are no locks on the doors to the rooms. There are no safes. There are three square meals and it's hard to find a snack. If you have dietary restrictions they will try to accommodate you but it is really best to bring your own snacks. This is not a... More

Howdy! Thanks for the great review of the ranch. We enjoyed entertaining you and your kids for the week and hope we met your expectations. Your family isn't the first to notice no locks on the doors or safes and truthfully don't have any issues with the fine folks who work for us and vacation with us. Loved the great... More

As a solo traveler this was perfect as it was all inclusive - meals, bed, and horses! The staff were very sweet and friendly as I felt very welcomed. The horses and wranglers were well trained and really fun to be around. I hadn't ridden in years and they helped me get loping quickly and safely. I did two day... More

As others have said, this is a pretty special place. Some highlights: the staff are wonderful (and almost all the wranglers are competent young women--great role models for young people), the owners and their family members are good people, experienced and involved in the business, the grounds are beautiful and spotless, the weather (at least the week we were there)... Howdy! Thanks so much for the wonderful review. We appreciated you bringing your family and glad to hear your older kids (22,22, and 18 years old) had a fantastic time! Hope to see your family again in the future and have a great rest of your summer. The Fosha Family More
