Spent a week at the "adults only" week in September. We had not ridden in years, with just "vacation only" experience. No need to be wary, intimidated, or worried we would be merely walking our horse in a straight line throughout the week. The wranglers teach you pretty quickly and by the end our stay, we were loping along with...

We had always wanted to try a 'dude' ranch for vacation and we booked the Drowsy Water. My wife and I brought our 14 year old daughter and her friend for a week. While apprehensive of 2 teenage girls 'isolated' from the outside world, it was a wonderful experience. The Fosha family made us feel so welcome and we became...

Since we came back from our trip here in August, my 9 year old daughter keeps referring to "when we go back to Drowsy Water" or "when I work at Drowsy Water"...There is something so different and wonderful about this place. I had never been so relaxed yet so exhausted (with a variety of muscle soreness) on a vacation. Everyone...

One word is enough to describe the holidays at Drowsy Water Ranch - AMAZING! The Fosha family makes you feel welcome, they make their ranch into your own "home away from home" . The minute you enter you are being taken care of; the family together with some 25 wranglers pamper you all through your holidays. There are plenty of...

Big thanks to the Fosha family for what was our second visit in two years to the ranch. This time we took our parents in addition to our three boys. They all loved it and kids loved returning. We didn't think it could possibly be as good as first time but was. Thank you for our favorite holiday destination from...

This ranch is as good as the reviews suggest. The business is truly family run. The owners cook, sing, hike, play the guitar, and teach horseback riding. Their hard work, honesty, and ethics permeate the young staff who are very well trained. Our family ranged from 60's to our children in 30's to grandchildren aged 5 and 7. None of...

I've never experienced a staff where EVERYONE from dishwasher to head wrangler was so friendly, helpful, professional and such a joy to be around. We had the great pleasure of going on two rides with Ian...an actual singing cowboy. Ian regaled us with great stories, interesting facts and the arias as we bushwhacked our way through the beautiful countryside....doesn't get...

This was our second visit and it was as good as our first. Never in my life do I head home as recharged as I do while also greatly anticipating our return visit. When Ken, Randy Sue, Justin, and Ryan say we are guests at their home, they mean it. Staff is first class.
