We have a beautiful, rustic, mountain, log, lodge with 2 large decks, hot tubs, BBQs, views of the Continental Divide, picnic areas with a horseshoe pit, etc. We have 9 rooms; 1 of which is the honeymoon suite that is just amazing (it has a king size bed, private dry sauna that leads out to a private deck with a private jacuzzi, 2 large flatscreen TVs, DVD player, free WiFi, fireplace, wet bar, small refrigerator, microwave, personal coffee machine, newly remodeled bathroom with heated floors and free local and long distance calling from your room). Each regular room has at least one queen size log-style bed, and some rooms have an additional queen size bed. We do offer roll-away beds in the rooms for a small fee for any extra people you may have. The bathrooms have all been recently remodeled with heated floors. They also have free unlimited local and long distance phone calls, free WI-FI, free coffee, and free ice. All rooms have access to our 2 large decks with beautiful mountain views, as well as access to the lodge community area that contains a pool table, shuffle board, large wood burning fireplace, and our fun Broncos themed media room with lots of seating and and large flatscreen 80” t.v. Great for game days or just watching a show or movie with the family and friends. In addition to that all our guests have access to our tipi area, great for hanging out, talking, and enjoy the fire pit in the middle. We are a 420 friendly resort and with so many places to hangout comfortably we offer a place for everyone! We are located in Coal Creek Canyon, a quiet yet beautiful mountain community that is approximately 30 minutes away from downtown Golden and Boulder.

Our absolute favourite hotel in the world! When my husband and I were dating we stayed here here on a whim when we wanted to spend one more day in Colorado(June 2014) This is where we both realised we were truly in love! We almost got married here but wasn’t quite in our budget at the time. We did honeymoon here(Nov 2014)and it was just as magical if not more than the first time! The private honey suite hottub, Christmas lights, and falling snow is one of my favourite all time memories. We have since vacationed here almost every time we go to Denver (live in Glenwood Springs now). This is the place that convinced us Colorado was for us! The owners were also Alaskans like my husband which made it all the more special for him. Theyve watched us go from young lovers, to newlyweds, and are now watching our kids grow up. This place is so special and we hope you will think so too!

Eldora Lodge is a great home away from home! We had a wonderful 4-night stay September 11-15 and hope to return in the near future! Mike and Rebecca are the owners and have created a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful Rocky Mountains. The owners and staff provide a welcoming atmosphere and are available to meet your every need. Each room has a unique cabin-like decor with comfy bed(s) and heated bathroom floors. Our room was #9 with a door to the back deck with a hot tub, lounge furniture, and a spectacular view toward the Continental Divide. Breakfast each day consisted of home-cooked food by Rebecca and was super delicious! The biscuits and gravy, blueberry french toast, egg frittata, oatmeal, breakfast burritos, etc. were amazing! We enjoyed the Bronco TV room, pool table, and books available for entertainment. We enjoyed eating dinner at the two restaurants close to the hotel and visited the convenience store just down the hill for snacks. We also suggest you visit Nederland, a small quaint mountain town close by. The location of the lodge is perfect and just a short drive down the mountain to Golden and Boulder if you want a bigger city experience. We decided to go on this trip last minute and were blessed to find open rooms. We always choose our vacation sites based on Trip Advisor reviews. You can trust the reviews! Eldora Lodge is a jewel! You will not be disappointed!

Just an hour out of Denver and yet it feels like you're from from the city, with big decks with a sunset view and hot tubs under a million stars. Almost more of an inn than a motel: I enjoyed talking with the owners and meeting other guests, and they compensate for the fact that there are few food options nearby with a huge (included) breakfast, little snacks, coffee and tea out all day, more snacks and a full bar available for purchase on the honor system, and pizza available for purchase every night. Common spaces also have a sports-watching room, pool table, games, and inside and outside gathering spaces. It's a cool and quirky place. Other misc notes that might cut either way for you: two cute little dogs wander in and out of the common spaces; all rooms are non-smoking but there is a smoking tipi outside with a firepit where you can indulge, if that's your thing; it's still definitely 3-star/former motel in some ways, don't expect the Four Seasons; the view is from the shared decks, not the rooms so much; it's kind of in the middle of nowhere but if you are traveling from Denver to Rocky Mt National Park, it's an easy stop that gets you out of Denver's traffic and right into your vacation.

We only stayed here for one night but would definitely return to stay longer. The lodge is beautiful, rustic and comfortable. We enjoyed the teepee with the fireplace, the beautiful decks and the comfort of the lodge. The breakfast was great and the people were wonderful. We would highly recommend the Eldora Lodge.

We stayed a the Eldora Lodge for one night after flying into Denver. We were exhausted from a very long travel day and asked if we could sit in the common areas until check in time. The very friendly manager (owner?) said that our room was clean and we were welcome to check in and take a nap before dinner! He toured the property and showed us all the available amenities - cold drinks, snacks, even beer, wine and liquor all on the honor system! Our room was beautiful and rustic with a wooden bed, also sparkling clean and quiet during the night. The views were gorgeous all the time, but the sunset was just amazing, with all the stars out and the lights of the city below. The two young men who were in the lobby later could not have been friendlier, and the breakfast the next morning was a home cooked wonder - NOT the same old fare as chain hotels. We were sorry we were only staying one night, and highly recommend this lodge to anyone traveling near Denver or Golden. They really do make you feel like family!
