Our room was like a Best Western Hotel room but we paid 300 for it. Very standard room for such expense. The amenities were probably why it was pricey, the access to the hot springs and an excellent breakfast (included) helped with the ouch on the price.

Hotel's Favorite
The steaming hot mineral bath pool feels mystical as well as healing with beautiful views and relaxing heated natural mineral bath on the cold and snowy Colorado winter nights. The facility works great for gatherings of families, friends, and/or colleagues, and can easily be a full day excursion....

The front desk was nice and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfy. A/c worked quite well. It was nice to be able to walk across the street and use the hot spring pool. Other reviews said the towels they give you there at the pool are small, but they’re the normal size bath towels and not too flimsy but not thick either. So you don’t need to bring a towel from the hotel room. You can hear through the walls in the bathroom area. The reason for 4 stars is that the staff went above and beyond in finding a lost item and offering to ship it to us. Otherwise nothing fancy but a nice place to shower and sleep.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge, we stayed for one night to enjoy the hot springs and get in a fall hike. I felt they had adequate measures in place for COVID and felt totally safe staying there. Staff were very helpful, our room was lovely and quiet and clean and my husband enjoyed the grab and go breakfast in the morning. Not much in the way for celiac friendly food (its all prepared on the same griddle), but I’m used to it and plan accordingly. We didn’t have time to take advantage of the hot springs pool, opting instead to try Iron Mountain hot springs. Sadly Iron Mtn didn’t live up to the hype and we’d wished we’d just done the hot springs pool, which from what we saw was much less crowded and socially distanced in comparison.

Stayed only one night but super efficient check in and out. Room was comfortable enough and i really like the fact we could skip the queue to the hot spring pools being a lodge guest. Breakfast was basic but nothing we can do during covid time.
