We stayed here two years ago and we were quite pleased with the accommodations. We stayed here this past Sunday and the place was just as clean and comfortable as before. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This place is awesome, clean rooms. Located on hwy 6 main highway thru town but a little bit out. Close to amusement park and ironmountain hot springs. Reasonable price, new renovation and a owner who really cares about your stay. Stay here you won't be sorry. Laundry also. Snacks for purchase in office.

It felt like the Highway was in the room! It was so noisy. I thought it would be nicer as reviewed said QUIET. And price!! It was double the price of motels but it’s a motel. Very basic, not at all worth the price for truck sounds all night long. Should be half what I paid. Ugh.

The room was clean, the bathroom had been nicely updated, and the bed was comfortable Very noisy outside due to the interstate but it was quiet inside the room. What made me give this 3 stars was that there wasn’t a mini fridge or microwave in the room. Looking back I see that the website didn’t mention these items in their list of amenities but I can’t even remember the last hotel I stayed in that didn’t provide these items.

I typically shy away from exterior -entry lodging, because I do not feel safe. No worries here! This extremely clean, safe and affordable lodging was just what I needed while in Glenwood Springs for four nights. The beds were very comfortable, the room was immaculate, and sitting on the porch breathing in the crisp mountain air was glorious! I highly recommend The Hanging Lake Inn.

I was expecting a basic room based on the description, but for the price this was disappointing. There was a desk in the room but no chair. Not one chair in the room to even sit down to put your shoes on. Nothing on the walls. Not one picture. The room appeared squeaky clean... until I looked at the bottom of my feet after walking around barefoot for an evening. The floors are vinyl, and looked like they must get a sweeping, but not mopping very often. The bed itself was comfortable.

The Hanging Lake Inn is a diamond off main street. We stay at this quaint location every time we head to Glenwood Springs to soak in the hot springs. This place doesn't offer breakfast, a gym or even a pool, but what it does offer is great customer service. The owners of this gem are gems themselves. I would recommend this quaint hotel to anyone that makes their way to Glenwood.

If you are a minimalist and think that Motel 6 is too luxurious, then this is the place for you. It was clean and very bare bones. It had a bed and a few amenities like a sink, shower, and toilet. The toilet was very useful as there were no chairs in the room so it provided a place to sit. There were no curtains but a nice-looking set of horizontal blinds was provided but the spaces between the slats allowed light to come through.. The pillows were typical motel lumps but we always travel with our own pillows so we were not stuck using them. The lack of carpeting was tolerable but the 1/2 inch high divider between the sleeping area and the bathroom area was a dangerous nuisance as we both stumbled over it. I guess we're just clumsy.. We were disappointed with the room because the exterior looked so nice and inviting. The view, however, is wonderful. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This time we were losers.…
