We have stayed several times at Caravan inn over the years. This last stay was very disappointing with the quality of the room and the staff. We booked the honeymoon suite like we had in the past looking forward to the special amenities in that room. After we had checked in and paid for the room, we were informed the jetted tub didn’t work. We later found out that night the fireplace also didn’t work. The staff informed me the fireplace was not working for forest fire fears. This fireplace is gas and in a city so no issues with fires. Several lamps didn’t work and the toiletries that were always good are now cheap substitutes. Paid extra for a special room and got just a big room. We asked to talk with the manager on check out and was told she would have to call. I’ve tried to contact the manager and keep getting the manager was out reply. The hotel is not being maintained like the past and is now just a hotel for backup not a first choice for a Glenwood stay.

Comfortable room, bed was good. Friendly staff, extend our stay by one more night all because we didn't want to leave. Stayed July 7 through July 11, close to downtown Glenwood close enough to travel to other mountain towns. Highly recommend, would stay here again.

Room is dated, but bed is good. No in room coffee service which is disappointing. Heat takes a while to get going. Stay dressed until it does. Hot tub is basically a "bubble tub" and has no real therapuetic value. It was a Sunday and the breakfast was miserable. Go south on Grand Avenue to the excellent diner or cheap it at Mikey D's.

We spent 5 days in July to visit family It was nice to visit with the actual owners. They took care of guests nicely. Facility was clean and well maintained. Great spot to watch the para-gliders. We will definitely recommend this place to others.
