This place is great. The location is perfect for travelers. Close to downtown and dining establishments as well as a big box store. I stay here once a week and have to say the staff is great. Very helpful nice people. Clean rooms. Affordable. I don't know what else you need in a motel, but this place has it. Thanks... More

I choose this hotel because of the reasonable price and proximity to town (easy drive, nice long walk, lots of older styled homes to see on way!) Room was tidy, VERY clean, nice linens, super clean bathroom and newer carpet. Room was super hot upon arrival (due to sun) but cooled down quickly with air con. Curtains thick enough to... More

I needed a room for one for one night. Frontier had one of the best prices. I knew it was an old motel but the owners obviously have worked hard to upgrade and make it a nice place. New tile and carpeting, faucets, painting, etc. The room was very clean. I did not need a refrig., coffee maker, or pool.... More

Most of the lodging in Glenwood Springs was out of our price range, except for this place. It is an old style motel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a very nice with cereal, fruit, bagels, toast and coffee. It is clear that the staff works hard to keep things nice, and... More

It is a bit noisy on the highway, but it was a clean comfortable bed. Pancakes, bagels, coffee, hard boiled egg continental breakfast. Very adequate for the price. The clerk was friendly. Everything we needed for a good night.

Old style motel with its best behind it. Comfortable enough for a one night stay but not longer than that. I've seen much better for a lot less on this tour but I guess its a popular area and prices reflect it. The wifi was free and good.

Our room was clean, and as expected for the reasonable price, compared to others in Glenwood.. The owner, Wes, is a very nice gentleman. I can't imagine the scenario that "Veronica M" described. Breakfast was the typical one for a motel with no kitchen: various pastries, coffee, juice, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, etc. Very sufficient.

This was the worst ever. My wife and I were woken up by mice. They were in our food all over our stuff. It was disgusting then the managers are owners completely disregarded and wouldn't even give us a one-day refund and we stayed two days nothing more disgusting than having mice

This is an older property being operated by a European gentleman. Place is well maintained & comfortable. Good location and a whole lot better nightly rate than you'll find nearly anywhere in the vicinity. Will stay there again!

We tent camp but couldn't find open campground. Frontier Lodge was about $25 cheaper than any other inn. It turned out to be perfect for our needs. Very clean. It appears that our room was recently remodeled. New tile and flooring in bathroom. Carpet was modern. New bathroom fixtures. Furniture was older blonded style but in excellent condition. Room smelled... More
