Our company worked in Aspen multiple times this year. We had several crews stay at Glenwood Canyon Resort. They were very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. We found the location a beautiful break away from the job stress and an enjoyable spot to weekend during our multi-week stays.
Took the drive out to spend time at the hot springs. We stayed in a cabin by the river. The cabin was great and warm. It is located right near town so it was very convenient. I will definitely be planning to book again in the summer!
My wife Linda and I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we and our family and friends had at Glenwood Canyon Resort. We spent several weeks and made 2 trips from California to work with Kevin Peterson in planning our son's wedding. We had 10 cabins for our California friends and 130 people attended the celebration. The service took place on the banks of the Colorado and the reception was held in their incredible banquet facility with a huge deck and outdoor bar overlooking the surrounding cliffs that the Colorado River winds its way through. The food was amazing and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Several said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Most of our group stayed several nights and some enjoyed hiking to Hanging Lake and visiting Iron Mountain Hot Springs, which also overlooks the River. Others took side trips to Aspen and Vail. I enjoyed walking the miles of trail that borders the River. There is plenty to do in and around Glenwood Springs (trout fishing, bike riding, jogging, etc.), and we had several wonderful meals at local restaurants where the service and food was beyond our expectations. Our rehearsal dinner was at a restaurant called "Rivers" which was recommended to us by Kevin and as the saying goes..."they hit it out of the park". It was so enjoyable that 16 of us went back the morning after the wedding for Sunday Brunch on the deck overlooking the River as well. We highly recommend Glenwood Canyon Resort. …
We stayed in one of the cabins down by the river. The cabin was great. It was warm and we loved the setting. Unfortunately the cabin was not clean when we arrived. The sheet was dirty and there was food on the floor. Because of the time of year they also had turned off the water. Priced too high for what we received.
This is a beautiful and well kept place to stay. It is so conveniently close to Glenwood Springs where there is so much to do. We were able to get a spot only a week in advance in the Fall season which works great for RV people who don't want to be traveling in bad weather.
