Rated this three stars solely due to the $90 per night price for full hookup RV site. For that price we expect some nice amenities which were minimal. PROS: Clean well kept park/ sites nicely spaced in beautiful location on the river with access to the Glenwood Springs 16 mile paved trail and close to hot springs and downtown. Very friendly staff. CONS: No wifi, cable, dog waste bags, and only two washers/dryers in laundry room which were located far from RV sites. All amenities that should be expected in an RV park at this price point. Also at no fault of the RV park, trains run through the valley across the river from the RV park which during the night is really loud. I guess they can charge these prices since they are the only RV park in the area.

We only booked our stay for 2 days. BIG mistake! Glenwood Canyon Resort is amazing - so beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Kevin and the others in the office were so helpful and eager to accommodate in every way.

We had a company function at the resort. The hosts were extremely accommodating, the deck/bar area was amazing for our catered meal, and all of the rooms were clean and in good shape. Lots to do in Glenwood area - hikes, springs, checking out town, and an adventure park!

Stayed here earlier this month in one of the cabins by the river…..so cute!! Kevin in the front office is amazing!! He was very helpful with everything we needed. He also had great ideas for dinner in Glenwood after we went to the hot springs.

You stayed for three nights in September, and truly enjoyed our experience! This facility caters to every facet of camping! We are a “senior“ couple that like to travel with our dog and Kevin made all of the provisions for us. Even though our cabin was the very first one in the facility, and nearest to the road, we heard absolutely no noise at all. We were amazed at the cleanliness of the resort. It is so very well kept up. i’ve read a lot of these critiques, and it seems that if there’s any criticisms, it’s a simple lack of communication. I’ve spent 30 years in the travel, business and unfamiliar with cancellation penalties, competitive rates, etc. One should always ask what is expected in advance. The facility has everything available for campers! The event center is awesome. The entire campus sits next to the Colorado river, we’re not all cabins are directly next to the river, but just a short walk away. We would absolutely use the Glenwood Canyon resort again!

Room Tip: Look at each of the cabin descriptions carefully or simply call Kevin for your needs!

We arrived late at night during a rain storm and a flood watch. We didn’t know what to expect when we woke up and we’re pleasantly surprised to find the most beautiful grounds in a most beautiful place. We woke up to bears drinking from the river across the way and brilliant wild flowers. Kevin, the host, was very friendly and actually the reason we knew wheee to look for bears. I camp often and have never encountered cleaner bathrooms. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it! The canyon is beautiful and the camp host, Kevin, was the best camp host we ever had. He went out if his way to make sure we were experiencing all that Glenwood Springs has to offer. Make sure you check out the bears across the river at sunset.

NOT RECOMMENDED The management had me canceling after a phone call. First, they charge a resort fee that was 160 for my stay. Even the same "fee" for a TENT SITE! for what? I already was paying double compared to anywhere else close...they DO NOT detail then"terms" they automatically taken2 nights charge before you arrive..along with the "resort fee " rip off it was a big red flag. The rudeness and unethical charges make it NOT RECOMMEND...WHY ARE YOU A JERK?

This place is incredible and our absolute favorite spot to visit. We have stayed in the penthouse suites, cabins and group cabins. The cabin was cool and spacious with vaulted ceilings and a loft. We grabbed coffee and ice at the market and enjoyed sitting on the porch and walking down by the river. The housekeepers and landscapers here are amazing. Very clean and friendly. Highly recommend. The manager and staff at the office are extremely helpful and recommended a great Italian restaurant in town called Bravo.
