An interesting place to stay, full of charm and history. Conveniently located near the Glenwood Hot Springs Pool,. I especially enjoyed the historical features and was impressed by the fact that Theodore Roosevelt stayed there.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. Our location is indeed ideal next to the Hot Springs. I am glad that you enjoyed the great historic ambiance in the same place that "Teddy" did. We love to see you back soon.

The Hotel Colorado has something rare, a combination of age, style and charm that made our brief-one night-stay there very enjoyable. I loved the huge hallways and truly grand staircase. Our room was up to date and very comfortable. Though it was a 90 degree day, our room was quite pleasant; a very quiet and effective fan kept it cool....

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. The staff is very pleased that you enjoyed the historical artifacts and charm of our 123 year old hotel. The architecture is definitely not something you will see in today's construction.

This hotel is a charmer, over 100 years old, a little quirky, but lovely grand dame. It is right across the street from the famous Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, probably the best vacation spot for families in all of Colorado, close to Aspen, Marble and some of the best river rafting in the state. We shared a double queen standard...

This hotel... was a place I wanted to stay at when I saw it from the Springs in 2012. I wish I had walked around the property first. I wouldn't have stayed. I have my rating only because of the room service. We pre ordered our breakfasts for three mornings and they were really good. But everything else - is...

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We know that your time is valuable. Due to the fact that we are a historic hotel we have many room types and therefor many different sizes of bathrooms. 123 years ago the bathroom did not have the same importance as it does today. We definitely have...

We have been staying at the Hotel Colorado for years and still find it to be a classy, romantic and wonderful place. The furnishings are beautiful, staff lovely and the grounds are amazing. There are new chairs and fire pits out on the grassy areas that make for a great place to sit in the evening. Room tip: if you...

First let me preface by saying I don't agree with the reviews that rate The Hotel Colorado down because of its' lack of air conditioning. It is a National Historicical Site and as such they can not do much to change the building. If you can't live without AC don't stay here. Now, the public areas of the hotel are...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your your feedback on your recent stay. We realize that being a historic hotel without air conditioning can be a challenge on some days where the temperature reaches 95 degrees. Normally the cool mountain climate cools things off at night.
