Our stay was the Saturday during the 2016 X Games in Aspen, Colorado. We stayed at Hotel Colorado as the price was very reasonable for the time of year with all the mountain events going on. We couldn't afford a room in Apsen, so Glenwood Springs was the next best bet. This hotel is very old and charming. Old fixtures... More

So difficult to review this hotel. The hotel reminds me of an old lady dressed in her Sunday best dress .... a dress that is has been worn many times...still neat and clean, but worn. That being said, we would go back. The room we had overlooked the the front courtyard. The room was spacious and immaculate. It did lack... More

We stayed here one night in Jan. This is a beautiful historic property that makes you feel like you are in another era that is located in scenic Glenwood Springs. It is located conveniently just a few blocks off the highway, although we didn't here any highway noise from our room. There is a quaint little coffee shop in the... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for providing us with your feedback on your recent stay. I am sorry to hear about your heat issues. With the steam radiators we realize that the heat is not as well controlled as in a more modern controlled environment. Your room should however not been this hot. I will definitely have our engineering staff take... More

I would have given this hotel 5 stars if they had coffee in the room or free coffee in the lobby. This hotel is gorgeous. The ceilings are soaring. The lobby beautiful. The rooms spacious. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was great. We had trout. Another in our party had the corned beef hash. All was good.... More

I have mixed feelings about this hotel, and it was difficult to rate. First the positives. The lobby was grand and beautiful, with antique furnishings, fireplaces, and a dozen beautifully decorated trees. The room also had some lovely antiques. The staff was friendly and helpful. Now the other stuff. The parking and path from door to parking was icy and... More

I live in Denver and have stayed here many times and always come back. There is just something about the Hotel that attracts me. Whether it be the lovely court yard, the beautiful lobby or the general nostalgia of the Hotel. I am a bit disappointed in the guest rooms, however. It seems that every time I open the door... More

I stayed at The Hotel Colorado earlier this month and had the time of my life. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the front desk staff was extremely helpful. Caitlin and Jesse pointed me in all the right directions and the young man with glasses was nice enough to take us wherever we needed to go... More

If you visit Glenwood Springs and don't stop at said hotel and have Ashley make you an Old Fashioned, it was a wasted trip. Seriously, it's my second of many stays. Ignore haters, they will never have the experience us fun folks desire. Your hotel should be more than a bed away from home. Have a cocktail in the very... More
