What a pleasant place to stay. Went here with low expectations and we’re really just blown away. Very cute rooms thoughtful decor, firm beds that don’t sag. We had one with a small kitchenette sink, microwave, and fridgerator with a few dishes. Parking on site. Well, their website didn’t seem to mention it. They actually do have a cooked breakfast not just continental but even the continental portion had a very large variety of options including yogurt, granola, fruit, Oatmeal and other cereal. They hire an actual chef who is able to accommodate our dietary needs . Evening happy hour was also quite a surprise with about four wines by the glass to choose from. And a large spread of both cold and warm appetizers, including a soup to warm you up after a ski day. Dining space is a nice long, quaint table in their main lodge room, which was very cozy, and a great way to get to talk to other guests about their day. Rates are reasonable and We will absolutely choose to stay here again.…
Loved it! Stayed overnight in the main lodge. Quaint Victorian room, nice staff, happy hour. Some rooms do not have private baths, so check on that if it’s important to you. Right on Main Street, so walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Outstanding hosts - if you enjoy great conversation with guest from all over the globe - this is the place. It's engaging, great rooms, affordable and close to everything. Excellent restaurants, right on main street!
This is an awesome place. It’s clean, comfortable, friendly, and great value for money. Frisco Lodge is an old school lodge with a comfy gathering place in the main lobby. If you choose you can socialize with other guests and swap ski or hiking stories during breakfast or happy hour at the large communal table, or you can keep to yourself in one of the many more private eating or sitting areas The owner, Susan, is a great host as is all the staff. They will satisfy just about any reasonable request and do it with a smile. Frisco Lodge provides a custom, hot breakfast as well as a robust and tasty happy hour with real food and drinks. That’s one thing that makes it such a great value. Smack dab in the middle of Frisco’s Main Street, there are numerous great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment within walking distance. All that while being fifteen minutes from Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain, and thirty minutes from Vail and Beaver Creak. Relaxing in the large hot tub after a day of hiking and skiing is a huge bonus. I can’t stress enough how much value this place provides. I am a repeat customer and that isn’t going to change in the future.…
The Frisco Lodge is a gem! Perfect home away from home with great people, top notch service and easy accessibility to Cooper, Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone and A-Basin. Summit stage free shuttle stop is 2 blocks away. Yes, it is old, but it is very cozy and full of character that you will not find in most modern places. The free breakfasts every morning were fantastic, including eggs to order, oatmeal, sausage, fruits, waffles, pancakes, hot cappuccino/latte/espresso drinks, orange juice, all fresh, homemade and delicious. The free evening happy hour with wine, cheese trays, fresh soup, appetizers and more wine set the stage for great conversion next to the fireplace with other guests. The staff is just outstanding, so accommodating and courteous. They even made dinner reservations for us during happy hour. Leave your car keys and they clean snow from your windows, move cars around and plow the parking lot while you are skiing. Special kudos to Claire and Murray for making us feel so welcome! Highly recommended if staying in Summit County. We will be back for sure!…
No complaints other than the fan in the bathroom is soo loud. But that’s minor. We love staying here. A bit pricy but we love it and try to stay whenever we’re in town. Clean hot tub. Wonderful happy hour. Yummy breakfast.
We had such a wonderful visit at Frisco lodge. Love all the little details they put together and especially the Christmas 🎄 tree and decorations! Wonderful breakfast and evening wine 🍷 tasting and snacks. We met the lovely owner, Susan! The hot cocoa and espresso were amazing! Would definitely recommend this lovely quaint lodge in the perfect location! Frisco is so beautiful! Thank you ☺️ for a wonderful visit!
I cannot wait to go back! My room was in the main lodge, one of the few rooms with a private bathroom. For me, that was a must. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe here as there are many restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The door to the main lodge locks at a certain hour and you are given a code as well. The breakfast is great, and they even offer happy hour wines!
The Frisco Lodge was great! Perfect location. Could walk to restaurants, shops, and even trails. Room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet at night. The free breakfast is homemade and made to order. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Frisco.
Came with a bike group from Santa Fe. We were well cared for - excellent breakfast, with so many choices, and then in the evening a “happy hour” that could serve as dinner. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful, we felt like honored guests in a family setting. The lodge is so historic , originally from 1885! But now with modern conveniences of course, while keeping its historic character. The hot tub is very nice after a day of exercising. We hope to bring family back to stay and ride bikes next year,
