The facility was stunning as was the location. the staff was pleasant and the Breakfast was tasty. We would return again and hope to reserve a cabin. Easy access to Ski resorts, hiking and Winter Park.

We had a two-night getaway and found this Inn to be a peaceful choice, but close enough to things we wanted to see and do - ie hikes, the mountains and lakes and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and thought of everything to make our stay fantastic. We hope to return soon.

Due to Covid—19 restrictions, it was finally nice to get back to the mountains. We had stated a year ago, in one of the cabins and were amazed how the staff, the chef and tranquility of Wild Horse Inn made our stay marvelous. Our recent last visit, we were simply ok with the staff. Gone was the professionalism and caring attention to detail, thanks in minor part to Covid-19 restrictions. We were happy to comply with all restrictions placed on the staff and visitors by State and local governments regulations. But there appeared to be an underlying lack by ownership and in house staff to bring their level of operations up to having WHI to last years standards. Although we paid full price for upscale accommodations: The internet was marginal at best, and breakfast was below average from last years offering. Last year, wine &/or beer was available in late afternoon offering, not this year although it is a normal offering that we paid for this year. We were fine with no maid service, going and getting towels, etc. due to restrictions. Thus, ownership did not have to pay for maid service, yet we paid full price that included maid service. Units are showing signs of wear, i.e. windows ‘screw mechanisms are not working, etc. Simply. we most likely will not stay here again until ownership gets some of these issues addressed. We run a business as well and totally understand all challenges faced by ownership during this virus imposed time; however, now is the time to want guest leaving and telling their friends how great WHI stay was.

We had a great visit to the Wild Horse Inn with our infant daughter. The cabin was clean and cozy. The breakfasts were delicious too! Check in was seamless, and the grounds were well taken care of. Beautiful views all around!

We have stayed at the Wild Horse Inn many times over the years, always in wintertime, and we love it. The proprietors, the Cribaris, are wonderfully friendly and accommodating. The rooms are all excellent, as are the cabins, which we especially appreciate when we bring our dog. The breakfasts are always creative and delicious, and it is wonderful to have the option of a sauna, hot tub, and workout in the downstairs exercise room. It is right by the cross-country ski trails at Devil's Thumb Ranch nordic center, and you can literally ski in and ski out when the snow is good. It's also close to Winter Park ski area and Snow Mountain Ranch nordic center. I have also attended a wedding at the Wild Horse Inn in the summer, and it was a fantastic venue for it.
