Fernweh Inn is a beautifully kept up charming old house with happy and friendly staff. So clean, cozy and comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the loft which was a very large and comfortable space - private room and bath. I appreciated all the amenities within our room, the large shower, the fridge and Keurig coffee maker! The bed was perfect - I thought it might be cold in the evening, but the temperature in the room was just right. I loved looking at all the pictures on the walls. I also appreciated that Fernweh - charged us a fair price for our stay and didn't gouge us even though it was Home Coming weekend for CSU. The city was packed, the hotels booked up fast, many charging higher than usual premium rates due to the high demand. Thank you Kelsey!! We didn't have time this trip - but next time we will take advantage of the bicycles to use in town. We will definitely be back.

Gorgeous place, awesome friendly staff! Good price, comfy atmosphere, slept well. I loved hanging on the patio, including some hammock time alone in the early morning sunshine. Met a couple really interesting fellow travelers, shared food. Perfect place to stay when in Fort Collins.

We were lucky enough to snag a private room here. This place is relaxed, friendly, clean, and full of amenities. We stayed in the top floor suite, which has a fully equipped bathroom (complete with a soaking tub) and kitchen area. It is in walking distance to Old Town, and we felt safe as two women in a town they were not so familiar with. This place is whimsical, comfy, and invites people to enjoy the space. For example, after a great night, we were heading up the stairs to our room when I spotted the sign below. We had so much fun rooting through this hidden surprise! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay close to Old Town.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I usually stay in hotels, but the reviews were so good for Fernweh and they had a private room available, so I thought I would give it a go. I'm so glad I did. From the minute we arrived, it was a wonderful experience. The room (Treetops) was generous, and the bathroom delightful. The downstairs shared spaces were comfortable - and the home-cooked bread each morning was really delicious.
