Detailed Reviews
We stayed at the Elizabeth last week. It is a wonderful hotel with a fun, spiritful atmosphere. The modern, eclectic decor is an inviting change over the usual chain hotels. And we loved the unique touches - record & guitar libraries! (To play on the turntable in your room!!) Their attention to detail during this crazy pandemic is also refreshing. (They even wrap the TV remote and hair dryer in plastic wrap.) The location is perfect for walking to the many bars and restaurants (and many shops that would be open, if not for the virus). I believe that they normally have a social hour but due to recent events that is not occuring at the moment, but they still had two pre-mixed cocktails and ice waiting for us in our room upon arrival! In the mornings they offer a nice slection of teas, coffees and small treats to get you started. My husband was struggling with his bag and phone on the way to the car and without even a word, a kind gentleman came up, grabbed the bag and carried it to the car. The hospitality at the Elizabeth is top notch. (Also, parking was included at the neighboring garage.) Stay at the Elizabeth; you will love it.

I made two night reservation at The Elizabeth Hotel and was upgraded to the Music Suite for my special trip which was so wonderful! From the moment I entered the room it was like being in a luxury apartment with amazing views from the balcony and numerous windows which provided lots of light, the room featured a full bath with separate soaking tub which felt like a spa and half bath. The living room area had a nice sitting area and piano which I enjoyed along with the record player. I requested some extra bath amenities and water prior to my arrival via the mobile app and they were in my room when I arrived.
This hotel valued my titanium status and offered me daily breakfast in my room which made the kitchen sitting area very useful. Menu selections were great and so was the extremely friendly room service staff who brought my food and on actual china as opposed to just a bag like some hotels do.
Water and coffee are provided daily in the lobby which is just another reason to love this hotel along with all it’s friendly and caring staff!
COVID-19 precautions are in place to ensure guests safety with hand sanitizer, mask requirements for guests and staff which made me feel very comfortable at this property.
I cannot say enough great things about this hotel and it’s five star staff. It is conveniently located between Denver and Cheyenne which was perfect for my trip. Looking forward to my next visit in the future!

Went to Ft. Collins for a short one night stay to celebrate a birthday. Decided to splurge and stay at The Elizabeth, sure glad we did.
Perfect location in Old Town. Check-in was easy with parking right next door. The double queen room is a decent size with a nice bathroom. We really liked the record player; grabbed a few albums, and played some music. The hotel has the best pillows of any hotel I have stayed. As a pillow expert, this is high praise :).
The staff was patient and helpful, answering our questions with grace and polish. Had a drink in their bar The Magic Rat and enjoyed ourselves. I cannot believe I did not know where the name of the bar came from as it is one of my favorite songs and from one of my favorite artists.
There are so many great restaurants and breweries very close which enhances this hotel's character. The price can be a bit high but all the hotel amenities and its location help overcome the price point. We will definitely be back.

My stars are for the wonderful and friendly staff.
Other than that, this hotel, while having cool features and nice rooms is currently basically a glorified apartment building. When you pay to stay at a hotel, you’re partially paying for service which includes room cleaning. We’ve stayed in many hotels during the pandemic, and every single one at least offers cleaning when requested.
My boyfriend and I had to stay here for almost two weeks, and our room was cleaned once upon request, and after that, they told us they weren’t offering cleaning service. We had to leave out our trash in the hallway, our sheets were never changed, and we had a pile-up of towels by the end.
I understand that they’re saying they’re just being Covid-safe, but if that’s the case, why was there constant gathering in the lobby for CSU graduation? Why is the restaurant open? Why is the terrace open? It seems to me they’re just skimping on cleaning to save money.
What the hell did I pay for???? I expect more from a Marriott boutique hotel.
I hope they somehow make this right.
Also the sink didn’t drain and the cable didn’t work for two days and there was a fire alarm drill that continued to blink in our room for two hours before it was fixed. Not ideal.

The Elizabeth is in an incredible location and very clean. But for $400 a night I have a few expectations that were unfulfilled. Outlets were broken the room, very important since I have a breathing device and I need an outlet near the bed. We are charged $20 a night for parking but there was not any parking available. We were offered a complimentary continental breakfast which consists of an apple and a stale muffin. The one very cool amenity that the hotel offers is a record player in your room and a vinyl lending library. Unfortunately the in room record player did not work.

Not only is the super cool clean retro hotel stocked with great albums and a photograph player in each room When I realized I forgot my iPhone charger, the front desk staff of Michal and Zacc Sprang into action. Michael went to a convenience store to help me. Wow. So glad my wife gave me the impetus to stay here instead of driving to Denver. Well worth the stay.

The Elizabeth even exceeded my expectations which were fairly high with it being part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection. The lobby areas are beautiful, comfortable, and oh, so inviting. Every hotel chain needs to model the Elizabeth’s bathrooms in any future building plans and the bedroom and bed ensure a great night’s rest. The service is exceptional and the front desk staffer even unlocked a Sunday night closed onsite restaurant to get me a napkin wrapped fork and spoon as my husband and I were sharing a dessert brought from the nearby Ginger and Baker restaurant which also deserve five stars in our ranking. The very affordable price was just a bonus.

The Elizabeth Hotel is outstanding. It has all of the glitz and glam of an upscale, full service hotel yet it has the feel of a small intimate hotel. The experience starts as soon as you pull to the front door. You are quickly met by the valet and offered assistance with your luggage. Once inside, there is a small front desk staffed by courteous and professional staff who immediately make you feel appreciated as a guest. The rooms are clean, fresh and well appointed. The record player in each room is a plus. Bedding is always clean and fresh. Towels are as if you are the first person to use them. My wife and I have stayed several times at the Elizabeth over the last few years and if bedding or towels were to wear out, we would have seen this. But no, the hotel keeps everything up to date. There are two lounges and a restaurant in the hotel. The hotel is well located to walk the Fort Collins downtown area. Finally and again, this is an intimate hotel with all the amenities of a large hotel. Its staff are professional and always make you feel like a valued guest. Highly recommended.

The location of the hotel is great, walking distance from everything you want to do in the Old Town area. Unfortunately other than that it isn't worth the price. They charge quite a bit for parking, have a few overpriced restaurants and bars on property, and not really any amenities other than free records to use in your player, but good luck finding any you want!
During our stay we unfortunately had a large leak or issue with our A/C unit, it was warm so likely the system was being overworked. We brought it to the attention of the front desk and my natural thought from experience at countless other Marriott properties is that they would immediately ask if we wanted to move rooms since a large section of the carpet was soaking wet. Instead they had maintenance look into it, later told us it was fixed and that the carpet was "as dry as they could get it" and things should work for the remainder of our stay. It was not until I again reminded them about the wet carpet and requested to move until they even checked to see if a move was possible. After checking they begrudgingly found a room available and told me that we could move if we really wanted to. We did move and the only assistance or compensation for our troubles was the front desk ensuring both sets of keys would work so we could move ourselves, we then ended with a smaller room with no view.
If everything went right with our room it would have been an overpriced, but acceptable stay I would recommend others to stay and possibly return. Unfortunately with the issue and the way it was handled I will likely look to other places to stay in my next visit.

I secretly booked 2 rooms for a guys weekend for my husband's birthday. The proximity to downtown, breweries, restaurants, and walking trails was perfect! The rooms were gorgeous, comfortable, and clean. Tracy R and Tiffany, among others, were so generous in helping me plan this epic weekend - they arranged for a little birthday credit for drinks on the room and helped me set up my cooler of snacks and drinks for the boys upon their arrival. They took care of getting everyone checked in so that when I brought my husband to the Sunset Lounge, we was totally unaware his out of town friends were already ready to party! The luxe bars, live music, yummy breakfasts, and exquisite stay were AH-MAZE-ING! I would definitely stay here again!

I don't know unfortunately -- but the front desk staff is super friendly and I'm sure they can guide you to the best solution.
The terrace level is a large open space on the 2nd floor that guests can sit out on and relax. We have added umbrellas to the terrace to make it a more enjoyable experience. We also have 2 gas fire pits on the terrace. If you reserve a terrace level room you have direct access to this area and a small sitting area. I hope this helps answer your question.
When I was there earlier this year my room had one. Also, in the morning the lobby had free coffee and tea next to the desk. This property is very unique and beautiful!
It is not a member of Marriott. Marriott has bought out many different chains, and resorts. They are now known as Bonvoy, hope this helps.
