A charming Inn along a gorgeous creek. If you want to relax and get-away, this is the peaceful place. The most gracious and helpful staff, with outstanding homemade breakfasts, fun happy hours and very clean rooms. The best views and only minutes walk to quaint downtown full of delicious dining, drinks and great shopping. The stay at Highland Haven is the highlight to our year, every year. Highly recommend a stay (or two or ten) there. You’ll wish you had found them sooner - trust me!
What a wonderful experience! In terms of location, the cabins are conveniently located near everything that downtown Evergreen has to offer, but they still provide a sense of privacy and an ability to enjoy wilderness. Evergreen is also conveniently located. We enjoyed Evergreen for most of the trip but also day tripped to Denver (an easy 35 minute drive) and Idaho Springs (20 minutes) and had a blast. In terms of lodging, we stayed in the fireside loft, and the room was spotless, cozy and well-appointed. The staff members were super friendly and helpful. As much as my husband and I couldn't believe how welcoming the room and staff were, we were even more amazed with the breakfast, which they delivered to the room. It was delicious, hearty, healthy and most importantly, sustaining. We waited for breakfast each morning before we started our hikes, which were multi-hour, double-digit hikes with significant climbs. The breakfast gave us the energy we needed for the duration of the hike (without upsetting a sensitive stomach), and we were grateful for the warmth and thoughtful care that went into its preparation. Well done, HH. We will be back. …
Staff cant be more professional and nice. Cabins are excellent and well appointed. Special call out to Sydney for helping us with our appetizers for our offsite gathering. Breakfast and Happy Hour are a great addition to meet the other gusts and enjoy time on the creek. Cant say enough good thing about HH!
Traveled for nephew's wedding. First trip since start of the pandemic. The location and amenities were just what the doctor ordered. The staff was wonderful - friendly and attentive. Loved sitting on the deck and having breakfast delivered every morning.
My wife always has wanted to stay in a tree house. So when she happened to find a rare vacancy at this one, we jumped on it. Very nice. Nicely laid out and furnished. Terrific oversized Jacuzzi. Covered parking for our new car was welcome. COVID precautions were observed. But it isn't truly a tree house. Happy hour was one glass of cheap wine each. Breakfast was some fruit and an egg thingy and something else forgettable in a cardboard tray (at least it wasn't styrofoam!). Staff was very pleasant and helpful. All in all, though, I'd rather have our $588 (yes, $588 for one night) back.
