Stay at this hotel on family visits from Florida. Best hotel for price, location to Highlands Ranch, COLORADO. Always clean, plenty of parking; wide stairs (elevator available); great rooms; ample towels; bedding great; always clean; good Wi-Fi, breakfast, TV; space outstanding in room.

This hotel is not soundproofed. For 2 nights I heard whoever was upstairs going back and forth in their room(like a herd of elephants). I also was awakened in the middle of the night of rhythmic banging upstairs for 2 minutes that even shook the walls in my room. There was a youth group that was using the indoor pool on the first floor which was noisy, although I could not hear this in my room. The ice machine was nearby outside the room making lots of noise people getting ice in the morning.
The hotel was clean, the rooms spacious, beds comfortable, friendly staff, good free breakfast, lots of choices.
I cannot give an excellent score, but on the next stay I requested a room on the third floor and had no noise issues.

This hotel was everything we could want, and more. We stayed here for 7 nights for our Denver trip. The location is awesome and super convenient. Short drives to most of the places on our list. The ViewHouse is right around the corner for convenient eats/drinks. The staff was absolutely amazing!! Lindsay was seriously the most customer service oriented personnel I’ve ever dealt with. She was so kind and helpful and always spoke to us as we came and went. We never got to meet Suzette but she was gracious enough to lend us her fan when we needed it for the noise. Our room was pristine, very clean and well kept. We had a king suite. A/C was good and cold, shower was nice and hot, beds comfy. Couch converted to pull out if necessary, fridge and microwave with cabinet space available. Vanity area with sink near full length mirror, perfect for getting ready for a night out. Breakfast was limited I think due to covid but we got juice, yogurt and muffins daily. They also have a complimentary soda fountain machine in the lobby. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool/spa area but it was nice, you do need a reservation to use it currently because of covid. I have only positive things to say about my stay here. Will definitely recommend and stay here on my next visit.

Overall wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms were not very clean and definitely in need of some serious maintenance. The big mirror in our room was coming off of the wall (including the drywall anchors). The TVs were both mounted crooked. The bathroom tub faucet constantly dripped/leaked hot water. We had a suite with a pull out couch and the fan between the two rooms didn’t work so it was pointless, because we couldn’t close the door between the bedroom area and living area otherwise my kids who were sleeping in the other area wouldn’t have had any AC circulated to them. The room was dirty - we found an old toothbrush covered in who knows what under one part of the couch, and the only reason we found it is because the two sections of the couch wouldn’t click to stay together and constantly separated. For the little amount we did spend in the room, any time that my 4 year old walked across the room we got a call up saying there was a noise complaint saying that it sounded like someone was doing gymnastics. We got a call at 6 in the morning saying that my son walking to the bathroom was too loud. When I explained that my son just walked to the bathroom they then suggested “it was maybe just the pipes making noise then”. Um? The lights over the hot tub area didn’t work, and fixtures all over the pool area were rusty.

The front desk staff was friendly, and the breakfast was pretty good - but that’s about the only good thing that came out of this. I’d definitely recommend staying somewhere else, especially if you have kids.

I made a reservation for 6 nights in December 2022. As we traveled across Nebraska in a ground blizzard, we found out that all highways including Interstate 76 were closed due to the weather so we had no choice but to stay in Nebraska for the night. As a courtesy, I called the hotel and explained that we could not get there that night but would be in the next day. When we arrived, we were told that because we had not physically checked in the night before, our entire reservation had been cancelled and they would not honor the rate that we had booked at. A conversation with the GM was useless as she was uncaring, inconsiderate and rude. She claimed that we could not speak to the person that I spoke to when I called as a courtesy, that she didn't know where the corporate office was or the telephone number...she was ridiculously shady in avoiding our questions or concerns. Even an appeal to Choice Hotels yielded no satisfaction. We have stayed at this property at least twice a year for several years...NEVER AGAIN!

We had an accident here due to negligence on the part of the hotel in which my infant daughter was almost seriously injured and my back was injured, and the hotel is now choosing to ignore me. During our stay, I sat my infant daughter securely in her feeding chair on the desk in the room. When I sat on the desk chair I immediately fell backwards, hit my head on the couch (on a cushion luckily), my legs swung up and almost toppled the desk. I was stuck in an upside-down position with my head inches from the ground. I couldn’t move without knocking over the desk with my feet. My son had to rush over and help me back up into a normal position. When I inspected the chair, I found that it was missing the bolts that attached the seat to the base. The bolts were nowhere in sight, so this chair was like this for at least a previous stay. When we complained to the front desk, they stated that there is no manager in the evening and there is no maintenance available either, so the chair will have to stay in the room overnight and we were not even offered a change of rooms. When we went to speak to the manager in the morning, we were told that she would have to be contacted, and we’d have to wait for a response. We waited over an hour to hear back from Rhiannon, the manager. When we finally heard from Rhiannon, we were told there would have to be a report filed for the incident, but she agreed that she could at least refund us for the night we stayed. She told to us to wait for her to call back again with further details. I asked for her manager’s number. All she would give me is an email address to their corporate parent company, “Aligned Hotel Management”. I emailed the VP of Operations, Steven Reed, who informed me that an incident report would have to be made and it would be turned over to their insurance company. Nothing would be done now. We waited over two hours to hear back from Rhiannon, and finally the lady at the front desk, who was very nice, told us to not waste the rest of our vacation waiting for her, so we left. When we finally heard back from Rhiannon, she reneged on refunding us for the night we stayed and stated that the incident report will be filled out and I will receive a copy in my email. It has been over a month now, and I have received nothing. There has been no incident report given, no response from Aligned Hotel Management or their insurance company, and every time I try and call Rhiannon, there is no answer, and no attempt to reach me back. I have called Choice Hotels, who informed me that they would reach out and encourage this Comfort Suites to respond and rectify the situation, I still have not heard from anyone regarding this incident.

This is a poorly managed hotel, it is dirty, there are drug abusers hanging out in the parking lot, the rooms are filthy, there is mold all over the bathroom, a child defecated in the hot tub so it was not in service when we were staying. The side doors weren’t working properly. Management appears to be non-existent at this hotel and apparently maintenance can only fix issues during the daytime, after your stay is complete.

Was excited for pool and spa and more. Booked it on hotels.com. But when we checked in there was no working elevator. We are in the second floor. The front desk operator was accommodating. But I could see the poor guy was running hard to keep up with the under staffing.
Problems: keys didn’t work several times. Elevator broken. Dragged our suitcases upstairs. No king bed. Toilet did t work 2x. Spa was low by 1 ft on under so water splashed literally everywhere. Pool was a chill. Tv did not work at all. We had to change one of our rooms from the horrible mildew smell and it was god awful. Lastly breakfast was good.

So disappointed in Frankie, the general manager, she was absolutely unprofessional in every way she was rude she was, unkind and I was truly hoping to stay here in the future with me and my family. I want to stay here many more times in the future the rooms were not clean. There is a stain on the couch and some stains on the sleeper sofa I am very disappointed the way Frankie yelled at me and my family treated treated me and my family, like we were nothing some of the staff were nice but I recommend you get a general manager who really cares about people and is a little more friendly. This was an absolute I’m disgusted the way she chose to treat us. I don’t wanna stay here anymore for future it’s amazing that one general manager can make you feel the way you do. She is the most unprofessional most disrespectful for me and my family are hard earned money to pay for these hotels for a vacation and she hast to treat us so poorly we got locked out of our room twice. It’s just very disturbing that Frankie can be that unkind and that unprofessional you guys need a new manager there.

This hotel was run down and nothing worked. Elevator- out of order. Hot tub- luke warm (Front desk said they had it turned up, but several people complained. it was hotter by morning) Remote for TV- you had to be within 6” of the TV to make it work. AC in room was just blowing up behind the blinds, and woke up uncomfortably hot, despite temp being set to 63. Beds were hard and uncomfortable, bathroom was old and dingy and the shower head was difficult to adjust. Breakfast was unimpressive, but the typical offerings.

The pools ceiling is about to cave in at any moment. Our room was just ok, beds were not comfortable at all, the bathroom has mold in the corners of the ceiling, window was very dirty, a/c unit didn’t seem to cool the room much during the day, our bathtub faucet had a constant drip for 3 days, mattress had some weird colored stain on it. I expected more from Comfort Suites.

Sorry, I do not know. As a lawyer I have never understood how hotels and car rental companies can discriminate against people 18 to 24. They have a toll free. Maybe give them a call.
