Why is this hotel MARGINALLY good? Room and hotel were modern and very clean. Breakfast was good (with a kind server/hostess taking care not to touch eating/drinking surfaces--yes, I noticed!). Finally, great view and excellent location overall. Now the marginal. Room has very restricted water flow from shower and sink (could hardly shave with so little water!). TV channels were also very limited. Cleaning crew starts cleaning rooms well before 9 a.m. with hallway noise pretty much waking up anyone who is sleeping in. Lastly, upon Checkout the Front Desk asked if everything was good. I said it was "marginally good". Surprisingly, she never asked what I meant by "marginally". Here's the bottom line: Most Hilton hotels are very good to excellent so if this one is only marginally good, why not stay at a nearby Hilton which doesn't have these problems. (p.s. I stay at a LOT of Hilton hotels so my remarks are in comparison to these other hotels.)…
My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was for an overnight business trip. I was extremely pleased with the dedication to cleanliness and professionalism. The location is also perfect to get around the city quickly. I’ll definitely be back for my Denver trips.
There was no hot water. There was “warm” water. Never hot. $8 for continental breakfast??? For cereal and a bagel. So my wife and I would have paid $12 for that? No thanks! We will skip this hotel next time we travel there!
In Short: Reception staff is great, some other staff is horrible. Breakfast buffet is a rip off. Rooms were clean enough upon arrival but there is no room service, even after requesting it. Deficient A/C and uncomfortable beds. I booked in Hilton expecting a standard of quality and service and was greatly disappointed. We will be returning to Colorado but never again at this hotel. The Good: Our receptionist was nice, polite, attentive and very helpful even helping me correct my reservation from 2 guests to 4 guests. The rooms were clean enough upon arrival and the hotel is very accessible. The Bad: Breakfast lady was rude and unprofessional. She unnecessarily raised her voice at me and other staff when I simply asked a question. She had this face of disgust while attending to us and even went as far as to say out loud to another guest that she hated people right after serving our table. Someone who dislikes her people and her job so much should no be working with customers. In order to get Breakfast you'll end up paying $40 more per night which makes it a 1/3 of the total price and for that price you get oatmeal, cereal, juice and bread, if any. If you want anything warm, eggs or some kind of meat you'll have to pay per plate. Not to mention the horrible uncalled for service. There is no room service until 5th day. We called front desk asking for room service, new sheets, new towels, trash picked up. All they did was take the trash. Mi wife had to go in person to reception to get more towels. I find this unacceptable. Finally, all 4 of us found the beds and pillows to be uncomfortable. My back hurt after our stay. The AC would not cool below 72F but during the night it actually went as high as 78F.…
Booked for a family of 4 in a double room. Our room only had 3 towels once we went to shower. AC as not working well. Young lady at front desk was rude and seem bothered by me showing up while she was chatting with a co-worker. Room was clean. Beware that there is a sign in the room that states that housekeeping is only offered after every 4th night. That can be an issue when you have 4 people in the room and two are kids. I will not be returning to this location!
We just finished staying here for two nights. It seems that have cut back on some items that one would typically anticipate in a room at $179 per night, before taxes. No room service between the nights, 2 Kurig coffee pods total (fortunately we brought our own as extras), no pen or note pad in room, minimal towels, marginal quality pillows, etc. We did ask for extra pillows which a pleasant fellow did bring to the room. Upon check in, no acknowledgment of being Hilton Honors members, but did give 2 bottles water when I went to the front desk later and asked. Second night was a total disaster. Heavy base type "rap music" reverberating through the walls from 9 PM to 6 AM. We kept thinking it would stop. I finally called the front desk at 3:30 AM and asked what was going on. The night clerk said he would check it out, which I guess he did but the irritation continued until 6 AM when they wore themselves out I suppose. What kind of people check into a place like the Hilton only to keep the "music" going all night, banging the doors occasionally, and so forth? Upon reviewing my invoice prior to check out, I noted two new line items that were not disclosed by Hilton when I made the reservation. Something about "Parking accommodation fees" at around $2.50 per night. What? Where did this come from and why were they trying to slip in this extra charge? Did they think I wouldn't notice? Or, that I wouldn't care because it was a relatively small amount? Ha! Prior to checking out this morning, August 6th, 2022, I requested these parking charges be removed, and I requested the lodging fee and all taxes be removed for the 2nd night due to the nasty noise that was actually coming from the room next door to us...9 PM to 6 AM. Who were these people and did they ever think that some people were trying to sleep during these hours? The front desk person, Guy, did remove the 2nd night charges and the non disclosed in advance parking fee. I am not sure what a front desk employee is supposed to do about obnoxious guests, like were next to us. It is not worth it to start a fire fight with trailer trash customers but it does seem that hotel management should have some policy to provide guidance in these cases. So, to the management of this Hilton Garden Inn, we will never return. We have stayed here in the past while visiting family in Highlands ranch, but you blew it big time.…
My husband and I stayed here one night to visit our daughter who lives in Denver. Not a fan. It is a convenient location off the freeway but this hotel needs a refresh. The hallways, elevators & rooms are old & dated. We arrived at 11:30 pm and there were some activities going on in cars & in the parking lot that were a little suspect. Was expecting our car to be broken into when we woke up in the morning but thankfully all was fine. Bed was clean. I just didn’t get a great vibe here- won’t be returning on our next visit.
Great place and Value for the Money; Breakfast was included, Be glad when there is daily maid service; but understand this a COVID Protocol. Hotel staff was really good with even issues with a power outage!
Have stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn a few times. Always top notch.Paige the GM helped with a customer issue immediately at 2:00AM. I have been thoroughly satisfied every time I've stayed here. Love Hiltons.
We stayed here for a week and the smell of pot never dissipated. This is against the Clean Air Act of CO. We had to stick towels under our door to keep the smell out. Further, our room was only cleaned 2 times in 7 days. Find somewhere else to stay.
