My best friend has been trying to get me to the Mad Creek B&B for more than a year now, but unfortunately I had shattered my right leg in a nasty fall which kept me house-bound for some time. Well, I finally made it this past weekend, and I've never had such a wonderful, peaceful stay anywhere in my entire... More

Lovely historical home with cozy rooms. Friendly and engaging hospitality. Affordable rates. Quiet town just off the interstate. Eat at Jenny's across the street. Just be sure to save room for homemade pie. I had the blueberry and my eyes rolled back into my head.

This place is great. It's off the main road in Empire, just 35 minutes from Winter Park. We made a last minute reservation and Myrna was amazing. What you pay for what you get is unbeatable. We stayed in the "Master" room, with a California king bed, down comforter, down pillows and private bath with clawfoot tub. We got in... More

While this is a very small Victorian Bed & Breakfast (three guest rooms), it's a perfect stay for lovers of authentic Victorian homes. All rooms have full baths, and though the full bath for the smallest room is not attached, the room does have an attached "powder room." Myrna, the owner/hostess, is without a doubt the kindest, most lovely and... More

We've stayed with Myrna for years now for the Georgetown Christmas Market, and every time the place is cheerful, quaint, cozy, clean, and homey. Her breakfasts are piping-hot marvels: egg souffles, Belgian Waffles with either fresh strawberries and hand-whipped cream, or a cinnamon-apple compote. And Myrna herself quickly became a friend worth keeping in touch with!

This place is quaint and peaceful. Myrna is wonderful. With only 3 rooms it's calm and quiet and everything seemed very clean. We booked last minute and enjoyed a relaxing Saturday night. It's only an hour from Denver. I would absolutely recommend this to any couple for a quick weekend getaway.
