The lack of attendance by the Office - use the outside phone to make contact is different. Basically look after yourself, obey the rules, eg external door locking after 6pm sort of thing. Its ok though - a collection of older villa style houses renovated into room more like a posh hostel as the majority of rooms in the building...

I must have had the deluxe room. This room was a room which had a past life as a lounge. It was modified to provide a sitting area, sleeping area, full kitchen and bathroom. The furnishings looked like it was unwanted furniture from someone's house. The decor was like someone's very lived in home. There wasn't much freshness. I won't...

My mistake was booking their cheapest room (#10)…it ended up being virtually a large closet with a wet bar kitchenette and a cruise-ship size bathroom. Our two medium suitcases did not fit in the room if they were opened at the same time. So, when I look at the rates for the possibly larger rooms, keep looking...you can find a...

Location not downtown. Not much parking. Room was clean with a comfy bed. Bathroom too small including the shower. There is fridge and kitchenette with microwave. But was quiet at night. Slept well in a confortable bed with good aircon. Good motel for a non fussy tourist. Train station right across street. But not much parking for rental cars.

This is a converted house so is unlike standard motels but rooms are well appointed & comfortable. Finding it might have been difficult for us "out of towers" without a SatNav and I suggest avoiding commuting time. There are several places to eat nearby and a good train service to the city centre just across the road. We recommend.

Great location right by the train station into Auckland in 15 minutes, and cheap too. The proprieters were delightful and greeted us with a smile, and upgraded us to a bigger room because there were two of us. The room was well furnished and comfortable; it smelt a bit musty when we entered but this soon went with the window...

If you are looking to stay a little out of Auckland CBD, this is a great place to stay. Across the road from the Train Station, so easy access into Auckland city. Also directly across the road from Eden Park. Rooms are a little small but very comfortable and clean. Restaurants within close walking distance.

Overall, we were pleased with this property. It is in an old villa, the rooms have been well converted to "units". Ours was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was small, but quite functional. We found good quality linen on the bed, which was very comfortable. The only small negatives we found were; check in process was by...

This motel is located DIRECTLY across the road from Gate A of Eden Park, so if you're attending an event there I would highly recommend it (however if you're not going to an event, and there is one on, I imagine this would be rather rowdy as all the fans walk past the front gate to get to the train...
