As others have noted, the hotel (the rooms specifically) does show signs of wear and tear without having to look too hard, BUT.....who cares?? The location is stunning, the service is efficient and friendly, the beds are comfortable, the workout room is generous, the restaurant serves great food - what else do you need? I suppose if your plan revolves... More

Get up here while you can! The soon-to-be sold resort is a perfect place for a romantic get-away. Enjoy a real fireplace and wake up to an incredible view of the mountains outside your window and large deck. (In our case, the aspens were still in their prime sporting green, yellow and gold leaves.) The staff went above and beyond... More

My husband and I stayed at The Lodge and Spa at Cordillera last week. We were not disappointed! We stayed in a king room with view and couldn't have been happier! The check in process was a breeze. We got to our room and were amazed at the beautiful grounds of the lodge. We took advantage of the outdoor hot... More

My wife and I had another wonderful visit at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. Very good service, good restaurant, terrific ambience for an autumn leaf tour. The views are spectacular. The lodge suffers from lack of maintenance, however. It's getting worn looking. But.....there is a reason for this. Much to our horror, the lodge has been sold to some... More

This is a nice place to have a very quiet weekend outside of the hustle of Vail. It's a boutique hotel with nice views of the surrounding mountain valleys that just isn't up to par with the rates still being charged. Rooms are dated and I feel like they aren't being maintained any longer. For example the dressers and the... More

I gave it 3 stars only because of the property location and potential. I would love to give this place another chance, if it ever gets renovated. The property is in dire need for a remodel (ten years ago) I'm not why this is not on the priority list. It has such an incredible potential to be an outstanding, talked... More

This is a very small hotel, which was perfect for my husband and I. We have been to Europe many times and we both agreed, this little hotel felt like, we were in the alps. Summer short stay and rate was hard to beat. Food was excellent, views were perfect, service was terrific. No complaints. Beautiful outdoor pool and deck. Sunsets were worth the price alone. Would also seem to be perfect for a summer wedding.

We went here for a wedding this weekend. The entrance gate 2 miles from the actual hotel is a little odd.
