This is a newer Residence Inn property ( or recently updated ). Nothing beats a new carpet and bed and a new coat of paint. I have seen a lot of older Residence and they get nasty with age. This property is definitely above average. The location is a little odd at a main road backing up to a mountain....

This is a typical RI and provides a good value for room size, amenities, etc. I would not stay here again due to the noise level. Walls seem VERY thin, could hear road noise, hallway doors opening/closing and next door coughing, talking, being intimate and every time the upstairs room walked it sounded like a herd of elephants. More soundproofing is...

It was convenient to main street Durango and easy to find. The staff was great event hour it was Christmas eve. The room was spacious enoug for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We got...

I have stayed at many Residence Inns and this property in Durango is consistent with the brand. The lobby was just remodeled and the rooms were is good shape, clean and spacious. We were in town for three nights to ride the Polar Express. There is no way to walk to town (at least in the winter) but town is...

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and I was pleased. Room clean, Paul Mitchell shampoo/conditioner, kitchen...all that you would expect with a Residence Inn. I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful, both when I checked in and when getting breakfast. One exception though - one employee did not seem thrilled with me telling him that a...

We were very pleased with this property. Very neat, clean, and plenty of room in our King Studio Suite. As typical with Residence Inn, full kitchen included. Pull out sofa bed. Quiet rooms. They were even doing some remodeling in the front office area and we could not even hear it! Good complimentary breakfast in the morning, with a great...

The staff here could not have treated me any better if I was their rich uncle! Reserved room was not ready at the appointed time, so they upgraded us to a larger suite. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable. Super evening buffets and breakfasts. While not in the historic district, I would go back there in a minute for the service and...

This is a very nice hotel in Durango. High rise, interior corridors, elevators, great breakfast and a very good buffet in the evening. Conveniently located but not in the historic area. We had a very roomy two bedroom suite. Staff friendly and helpful.

We haven't found a Residence Inn we don't like yet and this is no exception. Always good ammenities. Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Wonderful pool and fitness center. And we love the convenience of watching the kids in the pool from the fitness center. Price is high, but is to be expected from a Durango hotel unfortunately.

We spent 5 nights in a 1st floor king suite with a view of the building's a/c unit. (There is not a "view" hotel, anyway). That aside, we loved the hotel and the area. The hotel is comfortable, well maintained and about a mile from downtown Durrango. There are other hotels within a couple blocks of downtown but we have...
