When we arrived, the room was filthy with something dripping down the bathroom walls. My dog was super interested in licking it off. I had to run and by lysol to clean the room. I would have left if it wasn't so late. I then tried to fill my dog's water bowl, but there was only scalding hot water. Maintenance...

This guest was more than justly compensated for her troubles, considering the disgusting mess her dog left for us in the room.

VERY overpriced! This is a $40.00 room at a $100.00 price. The room stinks! The outside looks nice, but the rooms are gross. Drive a few miles out of Durango & get a better room. I have never rated a room this low, but this is really a big mistake.

If you like dirty floors , dirty sheets , leaky faucets, junk under the bed (including an ashtray & a large stick, and food!), a tv from 1985, filthy bathroom with hair stuck to the door, no hot water...by all means stay here! Also the windows are filthy, there is an air conditioner on a chair (um, if it's not...

Ideally located, very affordable. The desk clerks were very helpful and informative. Such a nice place to stay for our time in Durango and Silverton, but no frills.

We checked in at about 5pm. A/c didn't work, beds were very uncomftorble tried to open a window and pushed to hard and accidentally broke it. Told the boy at the front desk and he said my family and I were sol for the night. The next morning the owner or manager (never identified himself) was pounding on the door...

This guest, after breaking the window in his room (this was no accident, the shatter originated from the middle of the pane and looked like it had been hit from the inside with a blunt object), wend down to the lobby and belligerently demanded another room. After calming down, he eventually admitted that he was at fault and accepted that...

Lovely hotel and warmest welcome from Sharon on the desk. You could fault the lack of complimentary shampoo and coffee makers, though there is always coffee in the lobby, but the rooms and bathroom were spacious and spotless. This is a budget priced hotel but given the price, the helpfulness of staff and the cleanliness it's a real bargain. Ignore...

Some pretty good reviews and some sour grapes, too . Our stay was great, good location for all the sites. Brought the grandkids rode the trolley had fun. Employees were very nice. Rooms were good. Price was a very good value, comparatively.

This place is a real trash dump, bedbugs and roaches. Caught the staff trying to steal some of our things.

I don't know where to begin in replying to this review except to say that we have never had roaches or bedbugs. What I am really taken aback by, though, is the accusation of theft. It's a sign of the times, I guess, that people feel free to accuse others of horrible things like theft without any substantiation, then post...

After driving up from New Mexico on my way home to Montrose, CO, I decided to spend an evening in Durango and get a little rest in one of my favorite towns. Unfortunately, I picked the Adobe Inn. Decent location, and the night staff was pleasant enough, but the next morning, when I complained about the shocking lack of hot...

Was quite surprised to find little here to qualify for the price. Old, no outlets in the room. Furniture in bad shape. Found out through my travels and the websites do not reflect the actual condition. Be careful.
