This place had nice, clean bathrooms and other great amenities: a pool, playground, and laundry. The sites were nice and along the creek. We fell asleep to the sounds of the babbling creek. They also have fire pits you could rent if you wanted a fire.

Although we only spent one night here my family enjoyed this camground. We had friendly and helpful staff along with nice facilities. I had requested a site on the creek, which was flowing at the time of our visit. The creek was so great for my kids (11 and under) to play in. Well worth our stay.

Our family stayed here three nights of a three week trip through Southwest. The campground is in a beautiful mountain setting, support convenient to Durango, and the staff were awesome! Lots for kids to do including creek play, heated pool, and basketball court. Camp store was well stocked and everyone working was friendly, helpful and welcoming! Only cons were close...

This campground was super cool and our housekeeping cabin by the creek was awesome! Everyone that works there is super nice, and the campground is quiet. The creek is awesome and it was great to be right next to it! They don't allow campfires so if you want to roast marshmallows you have to rent a propane tank thing for...

After an unfortunate incident, we were forced to find not one, but two RV campsites at 7:30pm for a Thursday evening. I gave a call to Lightner Creek Campground and spoke to Robert and he said, come on over! We have two spots left and they are right next to each other! When we arrived, we explained that we are...

Nice size lots, some a bit too close to other campers especially if both sites are staying in a tent. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Kids enjoyed the pool, wifi does not have the greatest reception. Just a few miles to downtown Durango.

Stayed a week 7/11/16 - 7/18/16. Beautiful camp ground that is well maintained. There is also a security presence at all times that makes for a safe and secure experience. Everyone we talked to were more than friendly and welcoming. The pool was inviting as was the playground. Showers and rest rooms are kept immaculate. Although the individual sites are...

This peaceful RV park by the creek was perfect for our family with teens. The creek gave them something to get into plus there was a pool. The park was quiet and filled with other families with kids. The showers/bathrooms were clean. Beautiful spot under lots of trees.

Campground was clean and spaces all had some measure of privacy. The trees and the creek keep things cool, proximity to mountain biking and hiking is wonderful. Everytime we called office staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful visit.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins here to save money on a trip to Durango. The cabins are so cute and secluded. Our first night was awesome and quiet. It really is a lovely place to stay. Our second night, the neighboring cabins were occupied and they were loud smoked (which meant we needed to shut...
