This campground was super cool and our housekeeping cabin by the creek was awesome! Everyone that works there is super nice, and the campground is quiet. The creek is awesome and it was great to be right next to it! They don't allow campfires so if you want to roast marshmallows you have to rent a propane tank thing for... More

After an unfortunate incident, we were forced to find not one, but two RV campsites at 7:30pm for a Thursday evening. I gave a call to Lightner Creek Campground and spoke to Robert and he said, come on over! We have two spots left and they are right next to each other! When we arrived, we explained that we are... Stayed a week 7/11/16 - 7/18/16. Beautiful camp ground that is well maintained. There is also a security presence at all times that makes for a safe and secure experience. Everyone we talked to were more than friendly and welcoming. The pool was inviting as was the playground. Showers and rest rooms are kept immaculate. Although the individual sites are... More

This peaceful RV park by the creek was perfect for our family with teens. The creek gave them something to get into plus there was a pool. The park was quiet and filled with other families with kids. The showers/bathrooms were clean. Beautiful spot under lots of trees.

Campground was clean and spaces all had some measure of privacy. The trees and the creek keep things cool, proximity to mountain biking and hiking is wonderful. Everytime we called office staff was friendly and helpful. Wonderful visit.

My husband and I stayed in one of the cabins here to save money on a trip to Durango. The cabins are so cute and secluded. Our first night was awesome and quiet. It really is a lovely place to stay. Our second night, the neighboring cabins were occupied and they were loud smoked (which meant we needed to shut... More

Tons of shade, RV and tent friendly, sleep listening to the beautiful sound of the creek, incredibly cleaned facilities. This place is truly amazing, and it is only 7 minutes away from main street in downtown. The campsite is surrounded by mountains with mature trees, so there is a lot of privacy and shade. The attendants and owners are really... More

Car trouble during a cross country trip allowed us the unexpected opportunity to visit this beautiful campground. The first three nights were spent in a lovely, fully equipped cabin by the creek followed by several days of tent camping in a perfect creek side spot. There are many beautiful full hook up RV sites. The pool area is wonderful. The kids... More

My husband and I stayed at this campsite/RV resort while attending our niece's wedding. I was very impressed with our site # which was #38. The site can be cramped but this site was at the end surrounded by trees and right by the rolling creek. Was very private and not as crowded feeling like the rest of the sites.... More

Fantastic campground! All the sites are beautiful, with mature trees and well spaced. The owners are absolutely delightful and are justifiably proud of their property. The restrooms are immaculate. The pool is well located, away from the campsites so noise is never an issue. We weren't able to reserve a site on the creek, but nevertheless we could hear the... More
