I booked this hotel online. Received email with clear instructions for check up but when we drove there I called the hotel to make sure all was in order and they had our keys and room ready to go. Contactless check-in. I booked the king bed room it had a fridge and microwave. The room was clean in its entirety. Bed was very confortable and blankets were really warm. Its located very close to the main part of town but far away from the crowds, it has restaurants and coffee houses very close by. I really enjoyed my stay. Will book again if I'm in DUrango again.
Let me start by saying that I asses hotels for a living (no joke- it’s a real job!) and this was one of the very best hotel stays I’ve had in years - and I have stayed everywhere. Everything about our stay was wonderful! I was impressed before we even arrived: the over-the-phone reservation process was clear & efficient and the woman I spoke with was lovely. Upon arrival, the late-night check in process was seamless and intuitive. Within the room itself, the space was cozy, well appointed and spotlessly, blindingly clean. And the bed... oh, the bed... it was soooo comfortable. Slept like a baby! Our room was well-lit, the HVAC worked perfectly, water pressure was strong and we loved that the shampoo/soap was provided via pump dispenser to be environmentally friendly. Staying at the Adventure Inn was a stroke of luck and turned out to be a highlight of our cross-country road trip. Quite honestly, I would go back to Durango just to stay there again! Maybe one day soon... HUGE thank you to the Adventure Inn for a wonderful stay and a beautiful reprieve for two weary travelers.…
The owners of the Adventure Inn have it all figured out. Great location, great value and they have all the little things that most other motels/hotels haven't figured out. Easy check in/check out. Towels to abuse (dirty boots, vehicle, etc...) Industry grade APC charger, Diagram of the TV remote, Super Clean, a coupon for the coffee shop next door...To boot the staff checked in with prior to my arrival....Highly Recomend
This was a great place to stay in Durango. It's an older motel that has been well maintained. Our room was very clean with a nice bed, TV, microwave, and refrigerator. They did not have a coffee maker though, which we would have liked. The staff was friendly and attentive if we needed anything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
We live 60 miles away and just wanted a getaway. Try finding a room !! I'm not going into the whole thing, but we were terated so good here. The crew has it all worked out during this covid mess, the rooms are spotless! The mattress? Oh. my. gosh. If I were a bad girl, I would have lugged that thing into the pickup bed! The pillows weren't as good, but everyone wants their own pillows and I forgot them! We were comfy and had a relaxing time. We were deiving up to Silverton for the day so really enjoyed being able to crash comfortably when we got back. Walked to Durango Joe's in the morning, brought back our food and ate out front. We had wandered down to Serious Texas the night before, got drinks, and set out enjoying the lovely patio until bedtime. The grounds are very well cared for and we loved the wonderful staff. If we run away again, I'm coming back!…
