Very good preparation on the tent site, power, water, fire place and nice soft ground for the tent place. Only minor point: when you stay close to the pool area, you will have noise from the street at night. Small Breakfast and Pizza at night also available!

While the 2 kamping kabins were in good shape and close to bathrooms, the sites were so brushy and closed in with bluberry bushes we could hardly get around them or get close to the fire pit. The office, bathrooms, cookshack and mini golf were all well cared for, but the sites leave alot to be desired. It was impossible... More

The KOA was great, very friendly staff, motorcycle friendly. We had the pizza delivered to our campsite was very tasty. We also sampled the pies and ice cream, excellent. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well maintained. Great location with easy access to Durango and the surrounding areas.

We arrived on a Monday. The owners are very friendly and we had nothing bad to say about our experience. They make fresh pizza and pies daily. There is also a daily movie every night. The pool area was well kept and they even had a garden.

We read all of the bad reviews about this place - don't believe them. We stayed here for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay, but we didn't like our spot much. We were in a truck camper, so because it is not a gigantic RV or fifth wheel, they crammed us into a spot behind the main office and pool... More

We had a wonderful time here. The staff are wonderful people and very helpful. Our RV site had a deck with a fire pit with a nice outdoor table. We paid for firewood to be delivered. We were able to get propane as well. The pool was nice but not heated though it wasn't that cold. They have a movie... More

Love this KOA... Go here quite a bit when we visit Durango. The hotel rates in Durango are out of control in the summer. Stayed in a couple's Kabin and it is so nice. Has a queen bed, frig, TV, AC, heater.. The only thing you need is your linens. The pool is wonderful, and the pizza delivered to your... More

I can't help but scoff at the bad reviews. We had a 30 amp hookup site. Traveling with a tent trailer. Our site was private, clean and very well maintained. All of the staff (I dealt with 3-4 during our stay) were friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and convenient. Really enjoyed it!!! Now, the noise from the highway is... More

We stayed here last night just for the night. Ended up having a very last minute job interview in the area and our timeshare wasn't available. And hotel prices were ridiculous! Stayed in a kamper kabin, one room with a full size bed and a set of bunk beds. Ours was located right next to the bathrooms, showers, laundry room... More

We made Durango our base camp to explore the area. As members of Koa's reward program we try to stay at one when camping. We hit the jackpot with this one. Great place for families with kids of all ages including fur babies. They offer so much in a well maintained campground with clean sites, restrooms, and grounds. Two dog... More
