We stayed here two nights and was very pleased and comfortable with our stay. The serious Texas BBQ place just down the street was a good place to eat. A grocery store is close by as well. The trolley stop is handy to go downtown, especially if going on the Durango/Silverton Railroad, parking is very limited around the station and...

Good basic, no frills motel in Durango. Though not convenient to downtown, it is on the tram line. It does seem a little expensive for the value received, but Durango accomodations seem somewhat pricy.

In traveling through Colorado, we opted to stay at smaller places rather than chains and this was one of the best experiences. Very charming, clean, comfortable, nice owners, and a convenient shuttle into the main part of downtown. As it turned out, downtown was hopping with activities and we enjoyed being a little removed from it all. Had all the...

We have stayed here twice now, last summer over the 4th of July weekend and again this past spring in mid-May. Our experience last summer led us back again. The owners are extremely kind and after running in to car trouble last summer, they waited later into the evening to help us get checked in. We ended up needing a...

This is a little mom and pop hotel that takes you back to the 70s. Nice clean rooms with a very comfortable bed and some of the best prices in Durango. The only downfalls we noticed were no alarm clock, no hair dryer, and it looked like a computer monitor for a TV. But this is all minor in the...

durango is a wonderful place to visit--so much to see and do--unfortunately,there are a couple of things that are rare commodities here--those 2 things are reasonably priced, clean accommodations and reasonably priced meals--the siesta fills one of these needs-- if you require a huge room, giant flat screen, pool, and surly staff, this place is not for you--if you want...

Clean property, friendly owner, comfortable rooms! We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a kitchen and living area. The property is older, but is reasonable and well maintained, both inside the rooms and outside the property. The trolley comes past the front property, so getting downtown is easy. The owner gave great advice on local attractions and was very...

My stay was for 3 nights, the walls are thin and I could hear the people on either side of me sniffing, blowing their noses, walking around the room and some appalling snoring. Bring earplugs. The rooms are quite small, but have been nicely kept and are clean. Uninspired paint color, reasonably comfortable, new-ish mattress, small flat-screen t.v. and the...

The room is very delightfully decorated. Someone has talent here! It was small, but adequate. The weird thing was that the owner/desk person left for the night. When we came back from dinner the sign out front was turned off and the place was dark. There was one other car in the parking lot. No help here if you have...

Was looking for a less expensive motel for a couple of days to save a few buck on vacation. Boy, was this the best choice! Clean, very nice rooms, comfy bed, decent price. It is on the main drag, but did not hear traffic. The only con was that the towels are thin and small. But that is a small...
