While the owner Larry is friendly he is also a scam artist..he changes not only his price to gouge you but he lies about lodging taxes when asked. He is not an honest owner and I would not ever stay here nor would I suggest anyone else doing so. Not to mention the amenities are nothing to be proud of. This establishment is a THUMBS DOWN.
My family experienced a hospitable, warm, and inviting stay at the Siesta Motel. The owners were super friendly and so helpful in suggesting restaurants, places to visit and things to see/do during our stay. The motel is conveniently located and a hop away from downtown. The rooms are clean and the housekeeping staff was also very friendly. They went out of their way to add extra touches in getting our room ready such as shaping the towels into flowers :). The motel is a U shape, and each room faces a beautifully kept courtyard with magnificent trees, fabulous flowers, an adorable gazebo and comfortable patio furniture where guests can sit, chat and relax. Also, hummingbird bird enthusiasts can enjoy the multiple hummingbirds that frequent the feeders near the office. What a delight to view these feathered friends up close and personal!! We really felt welcomed and valued at the Siesta Motel. It is evident that the owners have a heart for people and enjoy running their establishment and serving the guests who stay there. Thank you for such a special and pleasant stay.…
Old motel but very clean and nicely decorated. Cute as can be. The owners are delightful but the real attraction is Buca, their schnauzer puppy. Omg what a cutie!! In a nice part of town. Area is very walkable. Nayite(sp?) is a great little mex restaurant close by.
Uncomfortable bed and noisy biker hangout (washed their bikes in the parking lot!). Advertised as "dog friendly" Acted reluctant when we arrived with our service dog and made us walk her off premises in a seedy area. You get what you pay for!
Very out dated! You couldn’t adjust the A/C cause knobs where missing , which we were told after we paid. To turn it on you had to plug it in, but stopped working in the middle of the night. Was set at a comfortable temperature.
