Not in office when she said they would be . Said at lunch from 10-2 but not there until after 3 unfriendly. Have stayed there several times but won’t go back I guess they can’t find employees and and don’t want to work themselves

Not worth the price. Small, cramped rooms. Traffic noise at night is loud and constant. Customer Service was terrible! They advertise, "warm hospitality," and a "friendly staff, - NOT! And, they charged $39 for my 5 lb. dog. Glad we only stayed one night....will never stay there or recommend them. Lady at the Front Desk was only concerned with payment and telling what we couldn't do. Don't bother!

The Siesta Motel is well- located. The property is very clean and is a fun place to visit. The owners are super friendly and have a motorcycle wash area for bikers. The guests were friendly, the property is in great shape, and is a good value for the price. The room is clean and nice attention to detail. I look forward to returning when in the area in the future!

Spent two nights here based on the previous reviews. different strokes for different folks. Small, dark rooms that needed to be upgraded for the price they are charging. Location is not that great if you are taking the train or wanting to eat downtown. Not much favorable I can say about our stay. Good thing we only had to sleep here. If you stay be warned that they only have front office service during specific hours. Booking.com texted us incessantly regarding letting the office know about our arrival time.

I cannot tell you a single good thing about this motel. Spend your money at another location, I assure you that you will not be happy here... Hair dryer overheated, very old. No place to set a second open suitcase but the floor. Shower smaller than closet. Mattress so old the material was split open and you could see springs, also sagged on edges. Never seen bars of soap so tiny. No iron or ironing board....They clearly need to spend money and upgrade rooms. Paper thin walls, heard the TV in next room.

My husband and I were so excited to visit Durango. We looked at reviews and saw this motel. We saw that it was family owned and had 223 excellent reviews, and we wanted to support small businesses. We walked into the room, and it is straight out of a horror movie: dingy bed and bedspread, old furniture, and a moldy shower. We immediately left and looked for something else. Guess we will stick to hotel chains from now on.

I asked the cleaning staff to clean my room (possibly near the end of their shift). They replied they only emptied the trash. My concern was that my bathroom window which I wished to open had never ever been cleaned; was full of dirt, sand from the rear carpark, and a cobweb. Most disgusting when trying to air dry some items. The Motel requires a 5 pm check in, latest which seems unusually stringent, especially as you ve pre-paid for your full stay by that time under the guarantee policy in force. The Motel has not seen much in the way of investment in the rooms. What was particularly annoying was hearing the neighbouring air conditioned devices all clattering away through the various front windows of adjoining rooms. May be if they had been placed on the inside of a room, I could have got one good night’s sleep here instead of zero for 2. They say their special benefit is being family-owned. I couldn’t see what made this stay any better than one at Day’s Inn, at half the price. UNDER WHELMED…

small--owned by the same NICE people since the 70s--good beds--cool decor--squeaky clean--picnic table, grill, and gazebo for guests to use--if you really want a huge room with a huge price, and an indifferent staff, try one of the several big box hotels in town--parking space is a little tight, so I wouldn't recommend if you ae pulling a trailer--otherwise, the best deal in town--STILL

We had a great stay. The "retro" pine panel décor was perfectly kept up. Modernized bath, clean all around, comfortable bed. The BBQ place 2doors up the street is awesome! I left three shirts hanging in the closet by mistake, and Larry called my cell phone so he could get my home address to be able to send them to me. Thank you!

I've been staying at this little family-owned motel for 20 years!! Squeaky clean, good beds, neat western decor--Our room even had a couple of nice recliners!! Way nicer for watching TV than lying on a bed--If you prefer a huge room, with a huge price, and indifferent staff, go to one of the big box hotels--Here, you're dealing with the (long time) owners, who want you to have a nice stay, and want you to return--Reasonably priced food and clean accommodations are in short supply in Durango--The Siesta is an exception--
