Stayed in the Spring Gulch cabin. Super cute, clean and well appointed. Snug and warm as the wind and snow whipped outside. Nice gas grill on the porch perfect for cooking up some steaks. Fun chatting with Aaliyah in the bar when we arrived. Wish check out was a little later. Already talking about when we might go back.
We recently stayed in the Native Spirit cabin/house. It is located in the mountains but close to a busy highway which was loud unless the windows were closed. The place was clean with the exception of a few baking sheets. There were some nice walking paths in the area and it was easy to drive to most places we wanted to see.
I am not easily impressed, and it takes a lot for me to give 5 stars but this group earned every star and more!! Booking our rafting trip was very easy and simple. I had seen their location driving to and from our Mtn home and have wanted to get them a try. Gave them a call, and they got us in the next day. Sam was a pleasure to work with. Our raft guide Charlie is top notch, the best! Filled with excitement and fun the entire trip. The children are already begging to go back, and want to try their zip line on the next visit. This is a must do on your visit to the Colorado high country. Thank you team for the amazing experience!! See you soon.
We originally booked a yurt in February but couldn’t make it up there due to bad weather and snow. I asked if we could have a credit for future and they offered a credit until summer, amazing! So we just went for the weekend and had a great time. The yurt was clean, the bathrooms and showers were clean, beds were comfy. Kids had a blast just wondering the area around the yurt. We took a rafting trip which was excellent. Our guide, Hayden, did a really great job especially as we had younger kids. All the staff were friendly and everyone had masks on. Traffic noise definitely considerable but we got used to it and knew that we’d get that just by knowing the location. Thanks for a great stay!
Avoid them during the COVID crisis! I booked with Hotels.com and this company fraudulent charged my credit card for the full amount WITHOUT authorization and against the terms of my booking. I am an auditor and verified numerous times the terms of my booking so this WAS NOT an error on my part or Hotels.com. Under my booking terms I was not supposed to be charged until check-in and allowed 100% free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival. To be clear I did not make a pre-paid booking. I attempted to contact the company quickly after the charge but they did not respond so I cancelled the booking thinking I would receive an automatic refund as entitled under my booking terms; however they held my money. I called them and they refused to process the refund stating they were holding it “in their cash reserve” until they receive COVID-19 stimulus money (i.e., SBA program). While I am empathetic and I understand the strain the crisis has put on businesses it is not appropriate to rationalize FRUAD AND THEFT. They have broken many State and Federal laws including payment card fraud. I will be filing a police report but I strongly recommend that anyone considering doing business with them in any capacity avoid as nothing will be guaranteed. I am working with my card provider to dispute and also reported them to Hotels.com for removal.…
