Adventure Chalets are the “glamping“ part of a much larger complex that, in my understanding, includes yurts and space for classic tents, as well as a challenge course with a zip line. The chalets were modest but posh at the same time; very compact yet containing everything necessary for comfort. Tips to know: 1) check-in is in the main building on the second floor, which is not overly obvious. However, the inside area is very cozy, with giant Jenga (pieces had just been cut and sanded by one of the employees), a box with table games, a friendly dog, and pizza slices for sale. 2) The bathroom door is an unusual sliding door, which tends to roll back if not guided correctly in its track. 3) beware that local chipmunks are interested and may try to get inside the chalet. 😅 4) do not count on coffee here! It was unbearably bad. 5) The chalets are very close to I-70, so you can hear its noises during the night. This can be a bother to some travelers, and not at all to others.

Made reservations then found out the yurt has no electricity - air conditioning!! Or running water. The bathroom is down the toad. Non refundable if less than 30 days out. Just made the reservations this week. Rather loose the money or ruin a vacation??

Stayed at Lawson Adv Park and the cabin we rented was the ‘largest’ 2 bedroom model. The living room and kitchen combo was smaller then a studio apt, bedrooms were typical no closets. The deck faced sun for ending 1/2 of day and was too hot to enjoy. The supposed pull out bed in living room is NOT a bed no mattress and HARD! You have to leave it pretty cleaned up as well. No AIR CONDITIONING in units! I have stayed at lake type cabins before, paid 60 night for them, they were bigger with ONE bedroom and two pull out futons were BETTER! This was ridiculous for $300 night! Should’ve got a hotel! Heard the I70 traffic ALL NIGHT as must leave windows open due to heat build up from day in cabin! Rated poor only as the view was nice!

A good place to stay esp if you are going to loveland ski area. Not very fancy cabins but good for a place to stay. Park was not opened yet so I cant review that part.employees were very friendly. Keep cabins clean and wash your dishes cause they charge a clean up fee if it is not clean. Front office closes about 6 pm so get what you need before then.

We had such a great time. It is as close to camping as you can get with beautiful lodging. So much to do! It was a perfect get away. Can’t wait for next visit!! The staff was friendly and made it feel even more relaxing. They are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area.
