Family owned and operated. Beautiful area near ponds and Delores River. Very dog friendly with a nice dog walk path. Clean Clean Clean. We only camped for one night, but we will be back. Thanks for a wonderful time!

We stayed in this campground for several days recently. Overall it is a nice place, clean and well kept. Pros: most spaces are big and on the river, no road noise, fun pizza night, clean bathrooms (though a bit of a walk from some spaces. Cons: Water tastes horrible, like mold. Almost undrinkable. Mosquito control contractor drove past our site... More

We stayed at this campground last week and were very pleasantly surprised. Even though it is not that far out of town and just off the highway it was very peaceful and quiet. The owners are very friendly and they really do a great job maintaining the campground. We were next to a pond and very nearby was the Dolores... More

We camped here for a week in July. The campground is beautiful and right next to the river. The kids had a wonderful time playing in the river. The owners are so nice, and very helpful. The long term residents were very kind and helpful, offering advice about the surrounding attractions. The kids all loved the ice cream social on... More

Our family enjoyed the Magpie Cabin with 2 adjacent camping sites for 3 nights. We were located right on the river where we enjoyed the view and the sound of the water. The owners and hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Clean showers and bathroom facilities. Also a laundry area, play area, and game room.

We had such a great camping experience at Dolores River. Between the campgrounds that are just simply breathtaking, the amazing staff, the family-centered feel, and the well kept grounds... it all made our vacation experience a wonderful one. I can't recommend this campground enough!!

This park is fabulous. From the service by the staff, the amenities offered, the value for your $, to the location itself, this park is a gem! We are not fans of commercial RV parks but Dolores River Campground is the exception! A big thank you to the owners!

This park has very friendly and helpful owners. It's quiet and peaceful, and has lots to do, with hiking and fishing or just easy walking and exploring near the Dolores River. They have a large playground that my grandson just loved.

Third year in a row we have come to DRC, and again had an amazing stay! Stayed three nights. River sleeper cabin is right on the river so we could listen to the lull of the water at night, and enjoy the beautiful scenery during the day. Took tubes down the river, enjoyed Gyro Food truck, ice cream social, and... More
