Swan Mountain Resort was a nice find in Dillon, CO. We looked for a place closer to a resort, but none to be found. This location is only 2 miles from Keystone resort and I was able to drive to Vail in around 30 min. They provided a lot of thoughtful amenities we haven't found in most places. In addition to salt & pepper and coffee filters, there was foil, cooking spray, hot chocolate mix, and popcorn. They provided fire starters and a Duraflame log for the wood burning fireplace, along with access to a huge woodpile. There was a carport for each unit, which was nice since it snowed a couple of nights we were there. Actually, we stayed twice. We had a two-bedroom which was the same floorplan as the one-bedroom only with a loft. Both were very spacious for a one-bedroom ski unit. A nice little find. There's not much close by however. We did find a bar/restaurant that was good, but with COVID times, it wasn't easy to get a table there. We cooked in most nights. We'll probably try to stay there again next year.…
We are skiers. So within 30 minutes from parking lot to parking lot you have 5 ski resorts. Time ranging from 8 minutes to 28 minutes for us. The room 1 bedroom with sun room is really more like a two bedroom. Tons of space and ideal for a base camp or just a day to relax.
We stayed here in January and had a wonderful time. The condo is very clean and cozy. The location is perfect between several major attractions. The club house was really nice and had a great indoor pool. We are planning another trip here in the summer.
This is our second time staying a week at this condo. We have enjoyed the service and the well supplied units. Enjoy the "real" fireplace with the wood supplied for free. We will likely stay here again in the future.
We are very happy with our stay here. We had a 2 bedroom with a living room and a kitchen. It was clean and everyone at the resort was nice. It's very close to Keystone Ski Resort (8 minute drive/ 4 miles) and the Keystone Nordic Center (8 minute hike through the snow on trails or a 3 minute drive for tubing, cross country skiing and snow shoeing). If you don't want to drive, you could take a 30 minute bus ride from Swan Mountain Resort to Keystone Ski Resort on Summit Stage from the Summit Cove bus stop (we didn't do that, so I can't say how crowded the buses were or how long it takes a bus to come by that has room for you.) You need to make a reservation for a single family to use the pool at a time, which was a little inconvenient, but we always found a spot that worked for us about 24 hours in advance. My husband said the bed was uncomfortable, but I slept fine. I contribute the high altitude to any lag I felt.…
