While still not past the post-Covid protocols, the rooms were very nice with great beds. Staff was good, but some struggled with English. The restaurant is only open for breakfast but many-many good places within a few blocks. I would stay here again.

Disappointing Stay… Checked out yesterday. Stayed here for 2 nights over daughter’s spring break. I paid over $700 for 2 nights plus $100 for parking and felt like I threw much of it in the garbage. Very underwhelming entrance to such a nice hotel, rude staff, no restaurant, seemed abandoned throughout. Furniture was old and damaged, sink in the bathroom leaked and soaked our stuff and the coasters underneath the clean drinking glasses, carpet old and dirty, and clearly hasn’t been updated for 20 hrs except tv. I asked if there was a hot tub and was told no but there’s a bathtub. Confusing… Don’t waste your money here. Sad experience overall when it should’ve felt like the 4 star hotel I paid for. There is no room service which is advertised, but what they call room service is ordering from a coffee bar between 6:30-10:30 am which never looked open, and someone will bring it to you in a plastic grocery bag. We tried it and do not waste your money any further. Two orders of French toast w berries will cost you $35 and be stale and cold when it arrives. I really don’t know how this hotel can falsely advertise 4 star service.

I'm a Marriott Bonvoy member with Titanium status, and my recent stay at this Westin was very disappointing. First, the hotel is worn, dated, and in need of a refresh. Second, the staff doesn't give a damn. The only shoutout goes to the car valet staff, who were friendly and attentive (although $46 to park a car overnight is pretty steep). The rest of the staff apparently doesn't understand what customer service is supposed to mean in the hospitality business. I understand that COVID has not been kind to hotels, and it's been hard to attract good employees back into the work force, but service has declined to the point where that staff at this hotel just doesn't seem to care about anything. My room had three empty dispensers - shampoo, body wash and conditioner pump bottles in the shower were all bone dry. I used my own products I fortunately packed. My bathroom sink was clogged and filled up with water quickly. I went downstairs at 6am the next morning and told the front desk of both of these issues, and that I wouldn't be back for 12 hours and that the housekeeping staff had permission to enter my room (which hotels now use as an excuse for not doing anything). I returned at 6pm to find nothing had been done, after which I complained again. The hotel doesn't even have any sundries to purchase; an 11Pm trip down to the lobby to buy some ibuprofen for a headache, found the shelves empty. The clueless front desk attendant said "I guess we're all out - there's a 7-11 a block away you can just go there." Everything about this hotel had an aura of crappy service on the part of customer facing employees. When brands don't matter anymore, why choose a Westin? I won't. This hotel needs to get its act together.

Here on a business trip and it’s a very worn hotel. It took 7 requests before I got an acceptable blanket and I was repeatedly told they didn't have down blankets, but when I found the right person, suddenly they had down blankets. Clean with the exception of the linens which are stained and very worn out.

I have stayed at the Westin Downtown before. We were excited about being there again. We even chose it over another hotel where our big party was being held. Upon arrival, there were NO BELLMEN and NO CARTS. My fiancé and I are both disabled and I had my 6 & 10 year d grandchildren with me. We struggled to get our things inside. There was a very long line. I am used to seeing the Marriott Bonvoy sign and walking up to the desk or waiting a few minutes. No, I waited in that increasingly long line after being redirected that I had to wait. Of course, No help when we left. We made it, however, I would appreciate an apology and a better business practice by THE WESTIN!

Very spacious rooms....especially the rooms with the double beds. This hotel felt safe even though it is located in downtown Denver which is becoming like Portland....cities ruined by politics. Food prices in the hotel are typically overpriced as usual. Breakfast is not included and your typical meal will run you roughly $14 per plate. Great place for meetings. This hotel does have a pool, a mix of half indoor and the other half outdoor. There are several restaurants within the walking distance (2 or 3 city blocks). Rooms have a mini-fridge but no microwave. You would have to travel down to the lobby to use a 1 and only little microwave if you decide to nuke a popcorn or a cup of ramen noodles. The staff are very professional and friendly. And most importantly, parking is NOT included. Daily parking fee is hefty, $35 per day. Overall, I am satisfied with the stay and can't really say much because my stay was comfortable but disappointed by no frills (I.e. breakfast, microwaves).

I spent 1 night at the Westin yesterday, Sunday December 19 with my husband. Location is great, as you are steps away from teh 16th St Mall, Larimer St with all the restaurants and bars. The hotel was clean, beds are comfortable and again, location is key. Upon check in, the front desk agent didn't make eye contact, no communication whatsoever, pretty rude. When I booked over the phone with their central reservations I was told breakfast was incldued from 6 to 11...guess what? Breakfast is not included, they have a basic coffee stand where you can buy black coffee and add creamer later . The girl behind the counter was very rude. "Ingrediants" their breakfast place is closed. Anyway, maybe this are the new customer service standards? Overall, 3 stars.

Dear Marcelawp, I recognize your time is valuable and appreciate the feedback you have provided. Receiving warm and friendly service from our staff sets the tone for a great stay. This was not your experience, and I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the associates, and as a teachable moment, we have discussed our service standards and reviewed improvement opportunities in the service they provide. I am confident that these necessary steps will ensure your experience of poor customer service by the front desk staff and breakfast restaurant staff is an isolated incident. I hope you choose to stay with us again, whenever your travels bring you back to the area. Sincerely, Brian Horowitz Assistant Rooms Operations Manager Westin Denver Downtown brian.horowitz@westin.com 3035729100

There are things you expect when you stay at a brand name hotel in a large city. The basics - in addition to a bed - would be housekeeping and food. Westin Downtown Denver has neither right now. When you check in they state room service is by request only, but guess what, even if you request it, you do not get it. Onto food. There is almost none. The restaurants are all closed and room service is closed. In their place is a small area with maybe six different kinds of snacks next to the front desk. You have to hurry though, because the snack area gets empty fast. They do offer breakfast room service “to go” style, which means it comes in a plastic bag if it comes at all. You can’t pre-order and the wait for delivery is very long. I’m sure the hotel states covid and the related labor shortage is the reason for these problems, but I have recently stayed in numerous hotels that do not pretend to be as nice as this one and get the basics right - bed, food, housekeeping. Do yourself a favor and book almost anywhere else while you are in Denver.

Excellent stay. Hotel is well located in downtown. Very clean. Good service. Walls are a bit thin so that’s reason for four stars and not five stars. Excellent fitness center with Peloton bikes, elypticals, etc. also some weights and universal setup.
