Literally have spent over 190 nights here over the past year and nary have I had one problem with any employee besides their newly appointed “manager” Darryl. I knew he didn’t like me and hid it behind fake smiles but he proved it by telling me I was no longer welcome due to supposed “behavior at another property” I’m guessing drunk on the new power his position afforded him and the glee in his voice he’d been waiting a while to do this. Bravo! Thank you for repaying my loyalty in such a grand fashion. Beyond petty and unprofessional. Work on your fake smile and relaxing the muscles in your jaw if you want your like ability to be believable. Just a suggestion.
This is the third time we have stayed at the Hyatt Regency in DTC. We always stay multiple nights--3-4 nights because we are visiting friends and family. We are also World of Hyatt members. Every time we stay, there has been a loud party (many people (8-10)--not just the occupants, laughing, talking/yelling loudly, singing, banging on something, loud sex, slamming the door as they go in and out, etc., etc.) in one of the rooms next to us. We always request a quiet room, no adjoining room, not near elevators, and not near stairs. We always end up with a party beside us at least one of the nights during our stay. We have to complain when it goes on after 10:30PM/11:00PM to the management. We think parties should be over by 9:30PM, but we try to be flexible. We usually go to bed by 10:00PM. This visit the party lasted until almost 2:00AM and we complained five times--2 to the occupants directly first around 10:30PM, once to maintenance team working on the 9th Floor after 10:30PM, and twice to management. I walked down to the lobby in my pajamas at 11:30PM and later at 12:30AM. Security needs to walk the halls and end loud room occupants at 10:00/10:30PM nightly.…
I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last 20 years or so. It is in a good location if you're going to be in south Denver. It is truly an 'average' hotel. The bathroom fixtures (toilet, sink, tub shower) are unchanged in 20 years I believe. Carpets have been refreshed as has bedding and furniture. The HVAC system and thermostat are the same as well. We were put in a king room that was the second to last room on a floor. These rooms are a bit bigger and have a lot of windows. The bedding, shower pressure, and noise were all just fine (despite there being a large conference inhouse). I was staying as a Hyatt Globalist, which included free breakfast. I took the breakfast on two of my three days. It was buffet style and the food was of decent quality. Each of the two days I was told that the breakfast was free/included, but a tip was not. This is a violation of the Hyatt T&C, but I tipped anyway since you know...they did give me a glass of water, a cup of coffee and the bill. I used the workout facilities once. There were three or four treadmills and other stationary equipment and a nice mix of weights plus a few machines. It was actually pretty good for a hotel workout facility. At check in I was told that housekeeping was upon request; I went ahead and requested it right then for each day of our stay. We didn't eat at Root 25 but did pop in for drinks two nights. The service was great actually; the wait staff was very attentive and friendly. There is a garage for self parking. Each time we used it there was the strong smell of weed that seemed to be coming from the construction structure they have on the ground floor of the garage. I remember this from my last stay here as well. We were also able to park in the valet spots because they either permanently or temporarily dropped valet service. The WiFi speed was good. We didn't turn on the TV or visit the coffee shop. This is a reliable hotel in a decent location. It isn't my favorite hotel in the DTC area, but when I'm chasing Hyatt status it is my go to.…
Great, centralized location, and the staff was very helpful and professional. Hotel is very dated and in need of upgrades, so suggest more recently built hotels in the area for a better experience. Thanks!
I would definitely stay here again. Everyone was super helpful. The front desk staff is great as is the shuttle driver. Also the people at their starbucks in the lobby were really sweet. I highly recommend this hotel.
Very nice place to stay. The restaurant was good, staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were on the top floor and the view of the mountains and the city was awesome.
I had a HORRIBLE experience at the Marriott Denver Tech Center, but the HYATT Tech Center SAVED THE DAY, or NIGHT rather. Karina at the Hyatt swooped in like a Knight on a shining horse and went above and beyond to fix an issue that was NOT Hyatts, but this hotel was fantastic, clean, very professional, polite, and I will be cancelling my Marriott rewards and moving over to Hyatt from now on!!
Booked 1 bed King received 2 full bed room. When asked about it I was told they cost the same. Unfortunately that was not the problem. The problem was I didn’t get what I paid for and nothing was done about it. Very rude man employee. Needless to say I will not stay at the Hyatt DTC or recommend it to anyone.
Poor communication between managers and staff. There was a fire that caused smoke to rise everywhere. We had a child hospitalized because of it. We weren’t notified until a paper slides Under the door at 3 pm. Fire department came at 9-10am. Tried contacting manager everyone was in a meeting. Staff so unprofessional. So much more happen. -30/10 experience will not be staying with Hyatt again.
Check in was quick and easy. We got the top floor, and the view was incredible. The bed was soo comfortable. The shower pressure was fabulous, even the soap they provided was great! The gym was HUGE, great variety. The pool looked sweet, sadly I didn't get to use it. The breakfast was soooooo soooooo yummy!! I would definitely stay here again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay! <3
