This was our first stay at The Curtis. The hotel is not like any other hotel we have stayed at. It is uniquely themed and fun. Locating is perfect for the LODO area and staff was very friendly and helpful. We had our share of issues but each and every issue was handled professionally and quickly. The hotel is older and has its quirks but we will be back next time we are through Denver.

Hotel's Favorite
I have stayed at the Curtis once before and I will never stay anywhere else in Denver. First time I stayed here I was on the Sci-Fi floor and so this time, I booked the Ghostbusters Suite. Whilst I was disappointed the green ghost was not in the room (I assume someone stole / broke him), it was still themed to the hilt. I also had fun going to each floor to heck out the other themes (some much better than others). The lobby, the staff (who gave us some great food suggestions) and everything within is just great. I have zero hesitation in recommending this hotel for any fun minded guest who doesn't take life too seriously!

Location was perfect. Hotel decor was fun & cheerful. Staff was just ok. Some barely spoke or acted like it was a chore to speak. Night 1 my friend tried to order from the hotel restaurant. They just kinda half grunted to use the QR code & have a seat. She noted that she didn’t have her phone with her (left it in the room). They told her to go back upstairs & call in an order & then come back down to pick it up… -__- So she just ordered Uber Eats instead.

Stayed during a weekend and our toilet was backed up Saturday afternoon through checkout. Couldn't use restroom at all. Contacted front desk and was assured twice that the maintenance man was "coming shortly". Never got fixed and we had to checkout first thing so we could all use the restroom at a gas station.

Horrible customer service by management. Front desk staff made accommodations only to be over ridden by manager. Rooms are dated and hotel attempts to be trendy by putting up fun pictures and lights but not the same experience as an upscale property. Very disappointed in visit.
