I never had high expectations for Denver but I've been amazingly surprised. The Art Hotel/restaurant/bar has been a great place to explore the city from. Jenn and Chris have been wonderful when I'm trying to relax after work. Great experience all around.
We recently enjoyed a lovely stay at the art hotel. Check in went smoothly and the location and valets were great. We got a capital suite because we wanted a balcony. I would probably get one that was higher up due to the noise level of the street. We were on the fifth floor and it was a bit noisy outside from traffic. Also I think the views would be better above the fifth.. The hotel is clean and modern. True to its name, art is displayed throughout the hotel and brings a wonderful pop of color. The restaurant and bar is in a great location on the fourth floor, as is the lobby, and we did enjoy a happy hour there immensely. The room came stocked with some water and soda as well as snack boxes from A provider in Boulder. If you ran out you could certainly ask for more in the lobby and they were happy to provide. We had a couple minor issues with our room and maintenance responded quickly and took care of it. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel and will definitely choose to stay here again.…
Spent a wonderful 6 nights at this hotel. Beautiful hotel with amazing amenities, including unlimited water and soda in the room. Breakfast in the hotel was some of the best hotel food I have ever encountered. Probably what made the hotel in the top tier for me was the staff, including John, Matt, and Alex at the front desk. Their direction for our plans and understanding of our concerns was met with great detail and accommodation. Really high end staff.
A lovely hotel in a very convenient location and studio was very nice. Be aware that rooms can be a block away from elevator; that one must ask daily for room to be made up; that there is no room service, and that one has to call Front Desk to get attention to anything.
Joey at the valet was So helpful with bags and car - and advice on hotel and area. Really started the hotel experience off perfectly! Hotel is modern and clean and the view of the mountains is amazing. Minibar waters and sodas were complementary- but Joey showed the best customer service I have seen in a long time!
Great place to stay. Very friendly helpful staff from the valets Justin and Faith all the way through the rest of the staff. Food was great both breakfast and dinner. Unique ways of making standard foods. Love the artwork. Great location. This will be our Denver go to hotel.
My wife and I so thoroughly enjoyed our delightful four-night stay at the art-themed Art Hotel adjacent to the Denver Art Museum that we plan to make it our first choice for accommodations when visiting my Denver family in the future. The hotel's staff was the best part of our stay. Clean, well-appointed rooms are available at many hotels; it is a great staff that really sets one property apart from another. Everyone with whom we came in contact at The Art Hotel was totally helpful AND most personable. In one instance a lost item of mine was returned to me after being washed by hotel staff--a service that exceeded my expectations. All-in-all, an EXXcellent stay at a centrally-located hotel with a uniquely "artful" theme!
Scott and Jen at Fire we’re amazing! Gave great recommendations for places to see around the city but we will definitely be back to see them during our stay! The views from this location are amazing!!
The valet workers were talking amongst themselves the first night we arrived. Didn’t approach us, say hi, anything. We had to walk up to them, wait for them to be done talking, and asked how the process works. Upon checking in, I had to ask about breakfast because I had paid extra to get it. The employee was like “oh yeah you need these”. So had I not asked, we would have never received them. The manager on duty on our third day was extremely rude to me when I was asking about possibly getting a refund for not using all of the breakfast vouchers I paid for. I paid $75/day for these vouchers and ended up not being able to use them all. They were made out to have a $30 credit, so that didn’t make sense either, if I paid $75 for two people. The math wasn’t mathing. She told me that they were complimentary since I paid extra… I guess I’m confused what complimentary means. Even if I couldn’t get a refund (which is fine), the way she went about it was awful. She was speaking down to me and my guest, when honestly, I was asking a simple question. She informed me they changed the policy and they’re not even doing the “bed and breakfast” option anymore and did away with it in February. I booked in January. I should have received an email of some sort that it was discontinued or some sort of communication period. I told her that I had to ask for the vouchers in the first place and she said that they discontinued it and aren’t training their employees on it anymore. I’m like… how is this my problem? Had an email been sent out, I would have known prior to my arrival. I ended up walking away from the counter and asked if I could gift them to another guest because I didn’t want them to go to waste and she looked at me and rolled her eyes and said, “I mean yeah I guess it that’s what you want to do.” Overall very displeased with this hotel for our girls trip.…
It wasn't 'bad' necessarily, just overpriced for my taste. The checkin is on the 4th floor, and housekeeping is only upon request. It's newer, from what I was told, and has potential. It is just not there yet. For half the price, it would be a deal. Security is essentially the keyed elevator. No vending, no room service, and the mountain view must be from the 9th floor. Staff is friendly, and it is a great location. Easily missed if you are driving. Internet didn't work until day 2 and the fridge never worked; I did tell the desk about the fridge, but nothing happened. No smoking, no balcony, and the nearest dispensary is walkable. I tried three different dispensaries, and the best, by far, is Pure Marijuana around the corner. A girl - slender, long dark hair, early 20s(?)- was the most knowledgeable and chill I have ever met. Her recommendations saved my trip. That said, yes, there's art in the hotel, but the location can do better. We shall see. …
