    Short but sweet visit
I stayed here for a work trip, it was booked for me. Everything went smoothly, the room was basically a mini-suite with 2 TVs and a kitchenette which was perfect for remote work. The Union Station location felt secure, despite an errant vagrant who accosted me in the AM while I waited for coffee (not the hotel's fault, and Union Station security was quite present. The hotel has partnerships with a bunch of the dozen+ restaurants at Union Station, so discounts abounded. I finished my meetings early and had a looooong wait until my flight, the front desk staff sent me to their spa (Oxford Spa) less than a block away to wait, which was quiet and comfortable, equipped with snacks and drinks. 12/10 would stay there again even if it wasn't work (and thus I had to pay for it myself :)). Megan at the front desk was especially wonderful!
Dear ej s, I sincerely apologize about the experience you had at the coffee shop but am happy to know our Security team was around. We are thrilled you still enjoyed your time with us and that Megan was so helpful! We do hope you return no matter the occasion. Kindly, Tiffany Owen

    Perfect for EVERYTHING!
This beautiful, historic hotel in Union Station was ideal for ALL our needs and then some. It is just steps from the light rail which transports to Denver airport(only $10.50 per person). The ticket is also good for the city bus and doesn't expire until 2:59 am the next day! Both of our tours conveniently picked us up in front of the hotel, and we were in the heart of LoDo (lower downtown-very nice part of town). The daily amenities are plentiful-free coffee(or tea), ice cream, happy hour alcohol, and more discounts! Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and spacious. The shower was AMAZING-also spacious, with strong water pressure and soft water texture(no residue). Robes, slippers, more coffee and alcohol available! We were delighted with the hospitality while in Denver. Kudos to the state of Colorado for managing to simultaneously welcome tourists and take all precautions during this unusual time. Went home with great memories!!
Dear luv2travel43130, We sincerely appreciate your sweet words and are thrilled to know you enjoyed every aspect of our unique hotel! As a luxury boutique property we aim to make our guests' experiences as effortless as possible, starting with the light rail ride in, having the convenience of downtown and providing all you need inside the Station. All of us here at The Crawford hope to see you again soon. Stay safe and be well! Kindly, Tiffany Owen

    Loved the location
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were loved the central location. Everything we wanted within walking distance. We traveled to catch a game at Mile High on the lite rail just a short walk from the hotel Simply the location is brilliant. The building and surroundings have a great feel about them and the hotel itself is closed off to the public so you don't have any disturbance. The rooms were well set out and comfortable and we loved the exposed beams and rustic feel to our room that gave the room plenty of character. The staff were extremely helpful and took care of any request we had. We would easily stay here again when back in Denver.
Dear Axell33, Thank you for taking a moment to tell us about your stay- reading new reviews is the highlight of our day! We are delighted you appreciated our central location to Mile High stadium and all the best restaurants and bars. Most importantly, I am glad our team took care of all of your requests. We look forward to your return! Kindly, Tiffany Owen

We love The Crawford and have stayed multiple times. We were offered an upgrade during our last visit, which we decided to go with, but looking back at what was actually included I would not pay for it again. Our “upgrade” put us in Room 407 with only 1 of 3 sinks in working order - 2 of the sinks were clogged. And there was only 1 small window in the entire suite! It made it feel very crypt-like and not a place I would enjoy staying in again. Also, the entry way stairs are an accident waiting to happen. I’ve noticed other reviews on here where people have tripped and injured themselves because it’s very poorly lit in 4th floor rooms. There wasn’t even any lamp or light over the mini bar to make ourselves a drink. We had to use our phone flashlights! Please ensure that rooms are in working order and there is more overhead lighting. The hotel overall and location are quite wonderful.

It is a very nice new hotel done in a style sympathetic to the historic building it was constructed in. We had a premium loft room, which is beautifully fitted into the attic space, with a huge bath. The location, with some great restaurants just downstairs and train service to the airport, was perfect for our overnight between flights.

Was very excited to stay at this hotel for a work conference. There conference rooms are in the basement which is not ideal for being in the same room for 10 hours. So that was a little rough. The hotel rooms were not clean, my sink did not work, hair in bathroom, food on the carpet... pretty sure they didn't even clean the room before I checked in just made the bed. I will not be going back to this hotel and will not recommend.

amazing, not perfect but almost - Stay in 1 of the suite, and the high ceiling, details on everything was just perfect , the attention given to the decoration, and simplicity of it. Bed was perfect. shower was very well done , only thing missing was a safe to put valuables. But seriously, that location is amazing, and the dinner at Stoic was also great....

The rooms are lovely and it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. I booked a last minute business trip for 12 people and the rooms were pricy but not outrageous. The issue is the lobby of the hotel is the waiting room for Union Station, during the day it's bustling and has a lot of energy, at night things change drastically. Many homeless people sleeping and trying to get into the secure elevators where the guest rooms are located. Our team witnessed several altercations in the common area as well as someone getting tased in the lobby. Police presence is felt but it's not something you want, your head on a swivel after coming in from dinner at 10pm. Many of the rooms look directly onto the platform of the train tracks with many people walking by, you cannot open the drapes. I pre-paid for all of the rooms and completed a credit card authorization for all incidentals, all of my guests were asked for a credit card at check-in and one guest was charged $2,000 (not a hold, an actual charge). This is not the quality I'd expect when paying $300-$500/night for a business hotel stay. I've tried to get in touch with the GM of the hotel but my contact, Freedom, has been hesitant to provide me with the information. The hotel has some very charming aspects and in theory is a neat spot, but because of several issues I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Overall our stay was okay I guess, but we would not stay at The Crawford Hotel again. We were in a loft room (Room 416) where there were 2 steps from the entry up to the bedroom. Unfortunately on our first night, my husband got up to use the bathroom during the night and did not remember the steps were there and he fell injuring his back and tailbone. After this fall, he spent the rest of the night in severe pain with alternating sweats, chills and constant nausea. Due to this fall and subsequent sickness, I had to cancel the tour we had scheduled on Thursday to the Rocky Mountains which was the only thing we really were looking forward to for the entire trip. Because we cancelled a few hours before the trip, we were not able to get a full refund for our trip. Bottom line the steps need some sort of night light that either stays on while it is dark or comes on when a guest approaches them to prevent someone from falling. Especially on the first night of your stay when you’re not familiar with the room those steps can be quite dangerous. It is not that expensive or difficult to install some kind of soft lighting on those steps - we did not want to keep one of the other lights on because it would be disruptive to our sleep. After his fall, I started keeping the light on the makeup mirror on just so there was a way to see the steps at night. For the prices they charge, installing safety lighting should be an easy thing to do. Also not having easy access to an ice machine was kind of a pain. And if you say there is a iPad in the room to order dine-in, etc., then there should be a iPad in there or update the guest information. They gave us a $100 credit for the "inconveniences" of ice machine and iPad.....seriously? My husband is STILL getting over a sore pained back injury.

Front desk didn’t let us know our room was ready to check in like they said they would. Snooze said my meal would be ready at 8:10 and wasn’t ready till 8:40 and made us late for a tour we had. Text valet for car said it would be ready in 10minutes it was 30 minutes. Went back into talk to front desk and they were very non caring and rude. House keeping only left us one towel and didn’t replenish our coffee stuff. The people at the front desk were just not very friendly

Great location, so easy from the airport and neighborhood walkability was a bonus! Coopers bar was amazing. The transformation to a wedding venue was impressive. It was a nice touch to have security officers in the main hall and a bathroom attendant in the very busy woman’s restroom keeping everything nice and orderly.

What a great place to stay. A real gem in the heart of Denver. The room was great. The bed was extremely comfortable. Most importantly, the pillows were perfect. That always lacks at a hotel. The location is convenient to everything. The bars and restaurants at Union Station are amazing. Everything was top notch.
