As CO residents, our "staycation" at the Crawford Hotel was wonderful. We were well taken care of by the entire staff. The amenities provided rounded out the stay perfectly with coffee in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon. We took advantage of the complementary ride to our event and loved all the activities available within walking distance. The local community is vibrant and fun. We never gave a second thought to our safety and security as The Crawford Hotel has seamlessly integrated hospitality into an eclectic urban environment. Well done and we look forward to our next visit.
We came to check in and our room was not ready yet, but the very kind man who helped us gave us a couple of free drink coupons for the bar at Union Station. We waited and then were brought to our room a little later than expected. However, our room was worth the wait!!! It was HUGE and right outside our door was a balcony with such a cool view of all of Union Station. Everything was clean and every staff member we encountered was helpful and nice. The location of this hotel cannot be beat! We went to 2 Colorado Rockies game because there was only a 10 minute walk to Coors Field. We were a block away from the 16th Street mall so we always had so many amazing choices for bars or restaurants. One gorgeous morning, we also walked to Empower Field for a tour. That was about a 25 minute walk, but very doable. We also loved that we were able to just catch a train right from Union Station to the airport when we left. If we ever visit Denver again, we won't hesitate to stay here again!…
We stumbled across this hotel after fleeing a more expensive, smelly alternative. Set in the Union Square terminus this beauty offers a great location mixed with old world charm and surrounded by trendy food establishments. It provides comfortable rooms which are ‘cosy ’ but beautifully furnished and with all the conveniences you need when away from home.
I was excited about trying out the Crawford while traveling for a recent board meeting. Unfortunately this is one that does not live up to the reviews or expectations. a) I reserved a King room and I was switched to two queens without any apology or even letting me know. When I complained to the front desk, they had no empathy at all, the lady with the sarcastic constant fake smile said a pipe burst in a room and therefore moved me there. I think she made it up on the spot and not a good excuse. Pipes burst in this hotel? No follow-up no attempt to change, fix, no apologies. b) I had a doordash delivery of a charger to the front desk. Instead of noting the guest name it was intended for they just "assumed" it was for hotel IT. What??? c) Elevator is slow and getting to and from the rooms takes time, there are security guys everywhere trying to stop people who are in the lobby from going up. This should be controlled with technology not with velvet ropes to cross each time d) I asked for my folio to be emailed to me (from the front desk) as I checked out and have not received it. The same sarcastic smile front desk lady either did not write it down correctly or just ignored my request. e) Room was a box, nothing exceptional about it. Rectangular room with a rectangular bathroom with a mediocre espresso machine (no cups for larger coffe for instance) Only positive is the closeness to Tavernetta restaurant around the corner but the Kimpton is far more convenient and better than this.…
Hello! I just wanted to leave a glowing comment regarding a recent stay I had at The Crawford Hotel. The staff at the front desk really go all out to make your stay special! I had some last minute things I needed printed and August Ridley, Jane Guispe and Nicholas Miner were so helpful. Each one of them in their own way, helped us through out our stay. They are knowledgeable, kind and really make you feel special. Thank you Crawford staff! I will be back in a few weeks and already looking forward to seeing you all and staying in your beautiful rooms!
After our connecting flight from Denver to Aspen was delayed and ultimately canceled, the Crawford Hotel was an easy train ride away. Located right in the Denver Union Station, we were wowed by the coziness of our room complete with in room cocktails (for sale), comfy robes, and charming historical trivia. We were traveling since early that morning so we were content to stay in our room and relax before returning to the airport for our flight the next morning. Nicholas from the front desk was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Union Station has many delicious places to eat too. Although we didn’t plan to stay there it sure checked all the boxes for us. We’ll definitely include a stay at the Crawford Hotel again if we’re passing through Denver!
So fun and enchanting. We really felt like we had a secret spot in history. It was classic and at the same time very fresh, and we enjoyed the pampering so very much. Convenience was enough to sell it. Historic was enough to sell it. But you just did so much more. This hotel was priced higher than most we typically stay at, but there were no qualms as to the value. Such a delightful experience from beginning to end. We would rave about all of your staff by name, but they did such an amazing and accommodating job so promptly we didn't get to really notice names. Please, consider that a huge compliment!!
We just returned home from a 5 night stay at the Crawford Hotel. From check in throughout our stay, we were treated like royalty. Every staff member at The Crawford was excellent! We dealt with August the most and he is by far one of the best employees we've ever encountered anywhere. We had a request to change rooms as my daughter's flight was changed and August went out of his way to accommodate our situation. He is just an amazing person and obviously loves dealing with people! The perks the hotel offers within the station, free ice cream, free coffee, 25% discount at restaurants, free cocktails at Cooper Lounge, etc. was a very nice touch. Thank you for a great stay! Big Thanks to August!!
I truly cannot say enough good things about AUGUST. The stay at the Crawford was lovely, but AUGUST went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were taken care of during our short stay. Not only is he incredibly kind and accommodating, but he is a super hard-worker and was able to get us a reservation at the restaurant when no reservations were available. He is an absolute miracle worker and far and away the most valuable employee you have. Somebody please give AUGUST a big raise and promotion, PLEASE!!!
I stayed at the Crawford on Friday 3/11 just for one night and had an incredible hotel experience. August was very friendly and personable at check in. Jennifer was super helpful and was fast when we needed extra blankets and pillows in the room. Jane was very friendly at check out and was very personable. All in all it was a great stay and I would definitely go back.
