Nestled in Union Station, The Crawford Hotel earns high marks for its central location and historical charm, which enchant guests seeking a luxurious stay amidst local attractions. While the atmosphere is often described as festive and the beds comfortable, some guests have called out issues with noise, particularly from trains and hallway traffic. The hotel's array of amenities, including complimentary treats and a shuttle service, are well-received, although opinions on value and housekeeping vary. Service is generally regarded as friendly, yet there have been occasional lapses in room service and staff responsiveness.

I stayed here for a work trip, it was booked for me. Everything went smoothly, the room was basically a mini-suite with 2 TVs and a kitchenette which was perfect for remote work. The Union Station location felt secure, despite an errant vagrant who accosted me in the AM while I waited for coffee (not the hotel's fault, and Union Station security was quite present. The hotel has partnerships with a bunch of the dozen+ restaurants at Union Station, so discounts abounded. I finished my meetings early and had a looooong wait until my flight, the front desk staff sent me to their spa (Oxford Spa) less than a block away to wait, which was quiet and comfortable, equipped with snacks and drinks. 12/10 would stay there again even if it wasn't work (and thus I had to pay for it myself :)). Megan at the front desk was especially wonderful!

This beautiful, historic hotel in Union Station was ideal for ALL our needs and then some. It is just steps from the light rail which transports to Denver airport(only $10.50 per person). The ticket is also good for the city bus and doesn't expire until 2:59 am the next day!
Both of our tours conveniently picked us up in front of the hotel, and we were in the heart of LoDo (lower downtown-very nice part of town).
The daily amenities are plentiful-free coffee(or tea), ice cream, happy hour alcohol, and more discounts!
Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet, and spacious. The shower was AMAZING-also spacious, with strong water pressure and soft water texture(no residue). Robes, slippers, more coffee and alcohol available!
We were delighted with the hospitality while in Denver. Kudos to the state of Colorado for managing to simultaneously welcome tourists and take all precautions during this unusual time.
Went home with great memories!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were loved the central location. Everything we wanted within walking distance. We traveled to catch a game at Mile High on the lite rail just a short walk from the hotel Simply the location is brilliant. The building and surroundings have a great feel about them and the hotel itself is closed off to the public so you don't have any disturbance. The rooms were well set out and comfortable and we loved the exposed beams and rustic feel to our room that gave the room plenty of character. The staff were extremely helpful and took care of any request we had. We would easily stay here again when back in Denver.

This hotel is fun and unique.
When you arrive, you'll need to park at The Oxford hotel down the street. They will move your luggage to The Crawford and valet your car. When walking in, a lot is going on. Trains are moving, people at the bar, others seated at comfortable seating with drinks or meals.
We booked the LoDo Suite and could not be happier with the choice. The room was immaculate and stylish. The seating and the bed are in separate areas and has two full baths. The staff was terrific and accommodating. We had dinner at Stoic and Genuine inside the station. The food was incredible, and the service as well. We ordered oysters on the half shell, clam chowder, and Maine lobster rolls. The bed was comfortable, and we did not hear any noise from other guests.

Everything was fantastic until the next morning.
It states you receive priority Seating at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery. When we attempted to eat that morning, we were informed we needed to make a reservation to get seating. Ummm, I am sorry, but that is not a priority seating option. That is a reservation. So that was a no go on the breakfast. We decided to get a cup of coffee and head to the airport early, and eat there.
This is where the morning gets worse. We get our coffee, head to the room, grab our luggage, and call Valet for the car.
We sat outside for 1.5 hours, waiting for our car from Valet. My husband asked multiple times where our car was, and each time he was told it was on its way, from where I am unsure.
Finally, he had to walk to The Oxford and tell them we would miss our flight. Twenty minutes later, the car was there, and now we don't have time to eat nor the time to fill the tank on the rental. So, we had to return the car without filling the tank, that was a substantial additional charge, and we ended up having to grab McDonald's at the airport. So much for a relaxing last day of vacation.

Dear Dbose7735, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback about your recent stay. I am thrilled you enjoyed our unique LoDo suites and found our staff to be kind and accommodating. I apologize for the experience you had with regards to Valet. While we have done our best to adjust to our temporary Valet structure, we understand how frustrating waiting that long can be and how stressful it is trying to make it to the airport on time. Please know you have not been charged for parking and Snooze has informed us of the Yelp Waitlist app they are encouraging people to use in order to monitor your spot on their wait list! A manager has reached out to rectify your issue as we hope to make this right. We hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Kindly, Tiffany Owen

Being at a train station and a lot of traffic coming through, the room was surprisingly quiet. We chose a non smoking room but for some reason when we arrived it smelt like a smokers room. The value of the room was a little overpriced but it was a cute room. Snooze delivers room service but it was too overpriced for 2 people, a few eggs and pancakes close to 100!. It’s in a great location but the lobby where people come and go can be a little cleaner.

I recently stayed at The Crawford Hotel with my boyfriend while visiting Denver for the first time. Prior to my stay, I called the front desk and spoke to Jennifer, who was incredibly helpful in discussing the hotel’s COVID cancellation policy, as well as recommending fun things for me and my boyfriend to do while visiting. Jennifer was also kind enough to upgrade our room to a beautiful suite. The room was truly incredible and made our time at The Crawford that much more enjoyable. Through the duration of our stay, all of the staff at The Crawford were extremely kind and had plenty of great restaurant recommendations for us. We loved the location of the hotel because it is situated perfectly in the heart of downtown, and nearly everything is within walking distance. The location is also extremely convenient for travelers arriving to Colorado via plane. We flew into the Denver Airport and hopped on the train located there, and for $10 rode the train about 40 minutes which brought us directly to Union Station - where The Crawford is located. It could not have been more seamless! Despite being in the middle of a pandemic, we enjoyed our trip to Denver and our stay at The Crawford so much. We will certainly be back and are recommending The Crawford Hotel to everyone we know!

My sister and I spent a few nights in this hotel. We got one of those "loft" rooms, since I couldn't stand hearing the footsteps of people in the room above me - so I got a room on the top floor. Check-in staff was excellent. Housekeeping, however, although OK, needs to sweep/vacuum/clean the bathroom floor when they come. My sister and I used the hairdryer in the bathroom, resulting in hair falling on the floor. It remained there for the rest of our stay, although housekeeping fixed the beds daily. Check-in staff was excellent though, and offered good dining suggestions, as well as water when we requested it. Our room had these "jackaloop" (rabbits with fake antlers) on taxidemitst mounts on the living room wall, which I thought was a little weird, but this didn't bother us. We liked the free coffee and ice cream. Our room was surprisingly quiet. I had requested a quiet room since I'm a light sleeper, and I got it. I understand, though, judging from the reviews, that not all guests are given quiet rooms.

The hotel is conveniently near the 16th street mall and restaurants. The train from the airport are right beside it too. The train ticket costs $10.50, but only $5.25 for seniors.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel, but I would ask quiet rooms, and for Housekeeping to clean the bathroom floors also.

We arrived for a girls Birthday celebration expecting it to be so great because lets be honest we usually don't spend this much on a hotel room unless it is a splurge weekend . We arrived and was told the room was not ready which was understandable because we were some early so we asked where we could grab lunch and use the restroom . Assuming these amenities would be in the Hotel. We were told that the lobby and bathrooms we were to use and hang out in where the train station . So what exactly did we get for our 500 per night stay. One room which when ready did have a private bathroom . This hotel is in a train station with no amenities except a room . I'm still in shock actually . I was uneasy to walk across the lobby and by the way , the food at Snooze restaurant was absolutely horrible . Can't blame the hotel for that because they don't have a restaurant or anything else . Go stay at a full service hotel and walk through the train station if you want to , but heaven help us don't stay there .

Want a seamless weekend getaway? Try the Crawford. We flew into Denver airport, hopped the train to Union Station ( $10 each ) and were able to ride directly to the hotel.

Front desk staff ( Manager Lauren?) was amazing- extraordinarily helpful from our arrival on, even when we couldn’t figure out the TV, how to order room service through the iPad and forgot our phone charger! ( we may have had a few cocktails prior to attempting usage of said technology)

Staying at the Crawford is a unique experience. From the bustling terminal on the main floor, to the many dining, drinking and shopping options on site, you truly don’t need to leave the property. ( we had a rain day where we barhopped throughout the complex and had a blast!)

Rooms were super cool with exposed beams, huge marble bathrooms, thoughtful design and comfortable beds. We had a loft suite, and it was perfect for two. Plenty of room to lounge and get ready etc

Major bonus points: the Gull-wing style Tesla fleet that will take you anywhere in a two mile radius ( Thanks Riley and Jamel!) Discounts and daily freebies at Union Station, like a free draught beer at Terminal Bar and coffee for two at Pigtrain, etc

I loved watching the crowd surge midday as travelers moved through the station and settle at night in the Grand Hall. Wonderful people watching and scenery. We were there 4 days and I noticed something new every time we ventured out; art, historical reference, another restaurant we missed before.... it was an adventure. ( favorite food: breakfast pot pie at Snooze and Tapas at Ulteria )

Service, simplicity and satiety describe our overall visit. We will be back!!!

I came to Denver shortly after Christmas to care for my ailing elderly parents, but since I would be traveling by air, I needed a comfortable place to spend a week quarantining before seeing them. I called reservations to explain my situation and Margo listened to my needs (comfortable chair was top on the list, as I anticipated logging lots of hours in the room), she spent a minute running through the rooms in her head and came up with one that she thought would be a great fit for me, which it was! The fact that I could take the train directly from the airport to the hotel was awesome - it couldn't have been easier transfer, but I have to say I was a little concerned about train noise when I looked out my window the first time; that notion was quickly disabused when I didn't hear a thing! The room was comfortable and homey, I felt safe, and loved the fact that I could walk through the lobby and see people; even though I was isolating, I didn't want to feel isolated, if that makes sense. I enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the people, both travelers waiting to board trains, and the guests of the hotel. I loved the fact that I could walk anywhere from the central location, and that there were plenty of food options, both in the station and just outside the front door. One last thing - the wine bottle cut out in the door of the mini fridge was just the icing on the cake :)
