Having stayed at this Hyatt many times before we were excited to have occasion to stay here again. Greately disappointed. At check in the agent could not answer our questions on any level, where restaurants might be, etc. This hotel experience was no different than a Motel 6, yet much more expensive. Choose wisely ~ pay attention to what you are hoping to experience. Read reviews, perhaps if I had I might have stayed elsewhere. Sad about the changes made to the level of service here.
We needed a last-minute place to stay in Denver so decided to stay at the Hyatt Regency. We were not disappointed. Efficient and friendly check-in and a clean and comfortable room - that was all we needed. Most importantly, great covid precautions.
Expected a newly constructed hotel, but rooms were a bit outdated and pool and spa area also suffered from some deferred maintenance. Workout room was good size and room to roam. A bit of a ghost town @ the Convention Center during the day and lots of people partying walking through the hotel at night. Expected more from a Grand Haytt.
First visit at a Hyatt property in some time (as I hadn't realized the Gold Passport program no longer existed in favor of the World of Hyatt program). I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Hyatt Regency in Denver. Convenient location with comfortable rooms overall. The rooms had the interesting combination of a double bed and a queen bed, convenient when traveling with a teenager. The location was close enough to many key attractions in town.
Everything was great the check in process was easy everyone was wonderful and very welcoming. We had a great view of the mountains and loved that the window opened up a little bit can get the fresh air in.
Facilities, accommodations and cleanliness were all great. Staff and service was subpar (take this with a grain of salt since all service industries are suffering from staff issues post covid) . But regardless if you don't have the staff, don't book multiple conventions the same week?
In short, check-in was lovely and we felt like we were really being taken care of…until we got to room. Issues: Room floor not vacuumed, sheets were not fresh on one of the beds, towels provided for only two guests and no extras available in a room for four, room service was AWFUL - took four trips to get order right, food was cold, and staff tried to argue that a quesadilla in a box marked with a “P” was pizza when clearly it wasn’t - despite pre-paying for parking (confirmed by front desk) we were told there was no parking on our room when we tried to exit.
Excellent Location, Excellent Accommodations, Excellent Staff, Excellent Service!! I would proudly recommend this hotel to family and friends. The hotel is very inviting and comfortable. It is definitely the place to stay.
Better options downtown Denver for the price. This used to be one of my favorite places but has lost a lot of its luster. Others are resuming normal operations since the pandemic but this hotel is slow to. Hasn’t resumed room service or normal food and beverage service. No longer has a club level. Checked me in to an occupied room and I had to go all the way back down stairs and the staff didn’t seem that sorry about it and didn’t go above and beyond to make it right. Air conditioner wasn’t very cold and the staff said it was just because it was so hot outside instead of sending someone to check on it.
The Hyatt Regency was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed for my business trip. Stores were very close if you needed anything and a very easy ride to the airport on public transportation. I would be happy to return.
