We stayed in the Gusteau room (second floor) for four nights in late October, arriving late due to a train delay. Door codes were communicated via text and a written welcome was waiting for us with further info re the Inn. The room was large and light-filled, the bathroom enormous and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. The Patterson Inn was so beautiful and I loved going up and down the wood staircase (though there is an elevator to the second floor) imagining all the people who've done so before. Enjoyed a late night drink with the innkeepers in the downstairs speakeasy on our last night. Would definitely stay here again. Some practical pointers: Breakfast is leisurely and prepared for you once seated, so give yourself at least 45 minutes. The Inn is about a $10/10-minute Uber ride to Union Station which, as a transit center, became the hub for our tourist visit to the Denver area. Gorgeous architecture all around, so take a walk in the neighborhood (Molly Brown mansion about two blocks away). And hit the piano bar, Charlie Browns Bar & Grill, a few blocks from the Inn for late night food and drink in a lively atmosphere with many locals.…
I have never been a big fan of B&Bs before but our stay at the Patterson Inn has changed all that. The staff was welcoming and our accommodations were great. Scott served us a delicious breakfast and was super friendly. I would plan on staying here the next time we come to Denver.
Room was great only concern ( very minor point) was lack of a full length mirror, very comfortable and sadly no ghosts! Staff were great, breakfast freshly cooked and good choice. The basement bar, 12 spirits is a cool place for a drink and small food bite, cocktails were freshly made and staff most helpful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.
My husband and I recently spent the night at the Patterson Inn in Denver, Colorado. The Inn is a converted mansion that is so so charming. We stayed in the Antoinette room which was spacious and comfortable. Our breakfast the next morning was delicious and the chef was very accommodating to my husband's dietary needs. All the staff was helpful and engaging to say the least. The Inn has a great location within walking distance to the Capitol, 15th St Mall and the Denver Botanical Gardens. Skip the chain hotels and stay at the Patterson. You'll be glad you did.
Great room, quite and comfortable. The staff was pleasent and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here anytime I am in the city. It is continue to evolve and will continue to bget better and better.
Husband and I came to celebrate an August birthday of sister who lived in Denver, and decided to treat ourselves with a stay at this enchanting boutique hotel. Prior to our stay, pleasant staff checked in with us via emails and a phone call to see what they could do to make our stay more memorable. What?!! Chris, the owner was gracious, helpful, and a great storyteller, He even let us set up a special birthday dinner in the side garden! Brian, the manager and bartender of the cool street level bar, was personable and concocted gorgeous cocktails. The Library, where we stayed, was spacious and beautiful ~ and the bathroom huge and full of amenities. Great location, dreamy accommodation, scrumptious breakfast, great owner and staff. We're fans and will return, hopefully, for a longer stay.…
We stayed in the Da Vinci room which was large and very nice. Our only complaint was the room was stuffy (thankfully there was a fan in the room that we blew on us at night) and there was no full length mirror. We eloped so when I got ready for our wedding I had to go into the lobby to access a full length mirror. The breakfast was delicious and filling. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne and chocolates to celebrate our nuptials. We would stay here again.
My husband & I’s stay were nothing short of amazing. We live only about a mile away, but chose a staycation for my birthday. We chose the Da Vinci room - supposedly the most haunted. We were greeted in the room with champagne and chocolate for the occasion. The room was incredible and had a large patio. The bed was so comfortable. The Inn is located perfectly in Cap Hill as it’s a very walkable area. The staff was so nice and very open about ghost stories & history of the Inn. The Pub & Breakfast were of course amazing as well. We were all encouraged to wander throughout the entire building and adventure as we please which we loved. With such a beautiful, large building, I would’ve been disappointed to be kept to only our room.
Beautiful Inn located in the nice area of Denver. It offers exceptional service. We were allowed to check in earlier, everyone we talked to was nice, helpful, and friendly. We were served a nice breakfast and at night enjoyed happy hour with a great wine selection. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The only things we were missing were AC, safe and parking, but it did not spoil our stay at this delightful Inn.
Patterson Inn is a quaint, boutique hotel with exceptional customer service. We were able To check in early and enjoyed a nice walk around the historic Capitol Hill area. We enjoyed learning more about the history of the hotel during the complimentary happy hour. We also thoroughly enjoyed the homemade breakfast! The library room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.
