My stay at Hotel Clio was excellent. The location is in the heart of Cherry Creek with easy access to shops and dining. The staff at the hotel was attentive, and my room was flawless. I had dinner and drinks at the on-site restaurant, and that was great too. I'll definitely stay there again.
I booked Hotel Clio to give my wife a clean safe night to stay near me while I was in a downtown Denver hospital recovering from a major surgery. I chose Clio for the first time because the Ritz Denver doesn’t provide great service anymore and downtown Denver is so sketchy now. After a stressful day at the hospital my wife arrived to a beautifully clean room and delicious comforting room service. I called the front desk and asked if they could do something special to welcome her under these trying circumstances. When they heard about my surgery, George and Bill took it upon themselves to run over to Whole Foods and get chocolate covered strawberries and a fine bottle of water for my wife to have waiting for her in the room. This type of service was touching and felt like family going above and beyond to welcome my wife. We will definitely be staying at Clio again for staycations. Thank you George and Bill.…
SLEEP: F This is huge. If you can't sleep well, that's a deal breaker. Blackout shades were missing or not properly fit. A/C system made terrible, constant dripping sounds all night, every night, that got worse the lower you set the temperature. Which you had to do because the sheets were scratchy and too thick - was roasting. Turning down the temperature only made the A/C noise worse. Pillows were either flat or overfilled. Mattress was slanted - felt like I was falling out of the bed all night. HELPFULNESS: D One too many "unfortunately" replies. Eliminate it from your vocabulary. Heard it a lot when trying to order from room service. Everything from them not being open, to you can’t order lunch from the lunch menu on Sunday, and the brunch menu isn't actual posted anywhere in the room, nor uploaded to the QR code menus, and we have no recommendation on how to order food now because it’s brunch… But I digress. ROOM SERVICE: C- No room service available for late night arrivals, nothing open nearby, and nothing stocked in the minibar. There was a stale, room temperature slice of Mother’s Day cake left on the dresser though. Lots of small misses, like a pitcher of water and no glasses to drink with. No creamer or sugar for 2 pots of coffee; missing items from food orders; sending coffee cups instead of wine glasses; items on the menu that were sold out – it’s a digital menu posted via a QR code, update it. LUXURY DETAILS: D Bedside phone kept rebooting; previous guests had disconnected it. Should've been caught. The shelf in the hallway was slanted down, same with the soap holder in the shower - things just kept falling off them. Dry-cleaning options for weekend were incomplete – couldn’t tell if I would or would not be able to get my suit back in time for the wedding. Coffee-stained carpet, and an end table badly chipped and scratched weeks after their remodel was completed. FITNESS CENTER: C The gym was good for cardio. However, no staff asked the underage children to leave. We're talking six-year-olds here. The multigym would have been fine coupled with the free weights except that the attachments weren't all there. Here's a thought - if you have a diagram of all the exercises you can do with the multi-gym posted, make sure you have all the attachments in the photos and replacements for them if they go missing. DIGITAL KEY: F Then there was the late checkout and having to go to the front desk to get the keys re-activated, and specifically clarifying that the digital key would still work - only to get to the room to find it isn't, and the 'call the desk' from the app doesn't connect you to a live person. ATTITUDE: F This on top of the pompous attitude and fake accent from the guy at the front desk asking to see a photo ID. No issue with providing ID, but that attitude and tone need to go. Flat, matter-of-fact replies with no please or thank you used. It's rude. You're supposed to be luxury. Having an attitude doesn't make you luxury. DECOR: A The finishes are nice. Kudos on the remodel. ELEVATOR SPEED: A The elevator is quick. ROOM SIZE: A The room was a good size. NOISE: B I only recall hearing other rooms once, and it wasn't bad. A/C is a different story. See Sleep section. LOCATION: A Location was perfect during daylight hours. Having Whole Foods down the street was a huge bonus.…
What a great hotel is Hotel Clio! From the moment we were greeted by the doormen, to the warm hospitable welcome we received at check in, to the spacious, very comfortable and impressively clean bedroom and bathroom, our stay was exceptional! All the staff was extremely friendly and courteous, and the ambiance of the remodeled hotel lobby, bar, outside lounge and restaurant (Zoro) made our stay so memorable! We indeed look forward to our next stay in Cherry Creek and at Hotel Clio!
All I can say is WOW!! Cherry Creek is amazing and Hotel Clio is everything you would expect from a luxury collection hotel. From the Valet to the Room Service everything was special. The view over the golf course with the mountains in the background was spectacular.
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times under the JW Marriott banner and it has always been one of my favorites. This was my first stay since the name/brand change and I was blown away both by the design and the service (as usual). The new lobby is open and well lit, creating a much more welcoming experience. The new furniture and art are sophisticated and befitting of the Cherry Creek neighborhood. As always my room was clean, the food at Toro was great and the staff was sharp. The fitness center is one of the best I've seen anywhere. I'll admit I had some trepidation about the changes coming into my stay but any concerns I had were erased within minutes. Hotel Clio will remain my hotel of choice in Denver
Our company has been staying and placing clients at Hotel Clio for over 2 years. The recent renovations they have made to hotel are first class. Co-workers & clients are always impressed with their stay. The staff at the hotel is helpful & courteous. Downtown meetings are within easy reach and the bars & restaurants around CLIO are plentiful. The GM of the hotel runs a great operation and we cannot say enough good things.

Everything about this hotel was perfect, location, staff, food, service. You name it they got it. I will definitely be staying here again. The workout facilities were just perfect and the room service was quick and delicious.
I stayed at Hotel Clio for business and I hope I have the opportunity to return to this great hotel! When I arrived, I was warmly greeted by the front desk personnel who made it an easy process to check in. The room was very spacious and clean. This hotel is in a great area for shopping and plenty of restaurants. This hotel is very luxurious and I can't wait to come back!
