Relatively ok location (The immediate surroundings are not the nicest, but I disagree with the other reviews that say it's "dangerous". Perhaps I've seen worse...) Room is nice with small kitchenette (fridge, microwave). Walkable to downtown and santa fe arts district. Gym doesn’t have a Peloton, but is open and roomy. Breakfast is good—fresh blueberries and strawberries. A protein option (sausage biscuit was the best, the egg bake was gross) also available, but it took me a day to realize that as the first morning no one was standing at that counter and you have to go ask for it. Minus one star for several smaller things: 1. Value (I paid about $215 a night, and saw other nights go for around $115, which would have definitely been more worth it). 2. No hair conditioner. 3. I asked for my mobile key three times, once on check in and once on day two, and once again on day three in the lobby. I never ended up receiving it. This was a hassle as I had to remember to bring my physical key, as you can’t get in the main door without it 4. Walls are pretty thin.

Great nice surprise. Looks like a hidden gem. Excellent facilities. Great studio suites. Very nice and attentive service. Just at the arrival impression looks like this would be a nice experience. Downtown is not so far. It is a comfortable option.

We stayed here two nights in September 2022. Yes, it's close to restaurants but it's also next door to 3 run down Bail Bondsman locations. Homeless persons close to front door. Air conditioner in room turned off and on all night. Walls were paper thin and we heard other guests coming and going throughout the evening. Bartender in lobby bar was unhappy and pretty rude. We would not recommend staying here.

Horrible experience at this hotel. Marriott Platinum given room on the lowest floor with a view of a stale puddle with cigarette butts in it and the back of the many bail bonds places next door. The room felt dirty with hairs all over the bed and a cigarette burn in the bedspread. Shower has nowhere to put your things and the hotel provided shampoo and body wash is on floor of the shower. Shower drains very slowly so by the end your in a couple inches of soapy water, gross! Staff couldn’t care less, I was told they don’t have shelves in the shower because Marriott won’t let them. In my nearly 600 nights in Marriotts this is the first time I have had nowhere to put things in the shower. This hotel ranks among the absolute worst I have stayed at, Marriott or otherwise. Basic breakfast which is shut down within seconds of closing time, including coffee packed up as you’re approaching cup in hand at 930 on the dot. Surrounding area has no restaurants or convenience stores, just bail bonds places and sketchy people. Truly awful!

My friend and I traveled to Denver from Dallas to see a concert. I had just come from a work trip in NYC so I was immediately blown away with how open, clean, and bright the space was. Our check in was super seamless and rooms were clean. It was nice to have a fridge, microwave, silverware in the room so you could keep things in the room. I will have to shout out to ReAnn at the front desk who was super kind and did the little extra of grabbing me ketchup and hot sauce even though there is not a live kitchen on site. We also ordered some more towels and Matt was super quick and kind with that request. I want to highlight them both but EVERY SINGLE PERSON who works at that property was kind, friendly, helpful, and just had a good attitude and it shined through the property. When I come back to Denver (which I will no doubt), I will definitely reconsider staying at the Element. Thank you!

The garagedoor was broken - all can access the hotel whereas to access via the front-door, the front office staff has to push a button to let persons in. Very bad follow up from the hotel after the police was twice in the hotel at the same day. This due to persons from outside the hotel (not guest) making trouble! If you want to have a safe stay - consider something elsewhere with security in the hotel!!

Above all else, I value my privacy, courtesy and safety at a hotel. The Element has none of these. The management has no concern for their guests and an express unwillingness to protect them and do what's in their best interests. The hotel is located in a seedy area near downtown with transients everywhere. My luggage was stolen from the front of the hotel on Friday and the Element did absolutely nothing to help. My passport, credit cards and electronics gone.😢 A police report was filed immediately, police arrived about two hours later (despite the station being two blocks away) and they asked to pull security footage. The staff told the officer their cameras don't work(!) But they would contact the gm. Before the police even tried to do their job, they told me my bag was gone especially if it was taken from that location. By 10p that night, despite numerous calls, still no response from management. The night manager, Ed, was beyond rude. How he's able to be employed anywhere other than Super 8 is beyond me. Instead of showing empathy and compassion for a dire situation, he arrogantly stated he was too busy (at 1030p and no one downstairs), and that I should take matters up with the police (which I had). He yelled at me, said they knew nothing about any security cameras and don't expect the Element to do anything. He said the general manager wouldn't be back until Monday and refused to contact her. I insisted on getting her name and asked for her voicemail. Ed deliberately sent me to a non specific voicemail that obviously wasn't hers. It's been two days with no response. On a whole other note, random employees walk into your room without knocking, while you are half naked, despite the do-not+disturb sign stuck to your door, and they will fraudulently charge your credit card hundreds of dollars "for incidentals" that don't exist, forcing you to dispute them with your credit card company. The front desk told me this happens all the time. No real complaints about the room itself except that there's barely enough water pressure to shower and the towels are tiny.

Staff friendly and helpful, clean rooms, environmentally conscious policies. Refrigerator, microwave, "kitchen" sink, coffee maker -- for those who do not want to eat out for all meals. Excellent freshly prepared free breakfast. You will likely need to Uber or walk to get around if you do not have access to a car. About a mile from Union Station. Some excellent restaurants within walking distance. This is a dog friendly hotel (this was a positive for me but it may not appeal to all.

The hotel was in the area of Downtown Denver we wanted to stay in and explore so we stayed for five nights and were upgraded to a full one bedroom suite with a kitchen, living and dining area and full bathroom. There were some quirks. The lights in the bathroom were on sensors. So they could go on and off while you were in the shower or on the toilet. The hotel during our stay only had one luggage cart for a 7 floor hotel. The morning we checked out it was AWOL. I had to improvise. Breakfasts were pretty good and for the most part tasty. They had a great assortment of options.

If you need/want a good night’s sleep, this isn’t the place. In addition to nearby trains and other’city sounds’ you can hear heating and air conditioning functions in neighboring rooms let alone jet propulsion plumbing. Rooms look nice but poorly constructed.
