Just passing through for 2 nights for work and wanted to stay somewhere downtown that was fun. This was the place. Location is top notch, plenty of bars, places to eat. The front desk staff, was very young & hip fit the hotel, no uniforms. They where very knowledgeable in the area and helped me with all my questions.
My family and I where passing through with our pup and they had a lot of cool dog amenities. One of the agents gave our dog Sarsaparilla a cool custom milk bone. I think he was one of the managers, he had a beard and flowy hair. Also one of the girls who had cat eyes was great! Sorry couldn't remember the names. Overall was pricey but worth the service.
We loved staying in this hotel, the restaurants, and shops right on the ground floor are great and we loved walking around this neighborhood - it was easy to get to many other places we visited in the city too - Union Station, RINO, LODO. The rooms are nice, very modern feel....however our room was a little rough around some of the edges and maybe not as well thought out - no table to be able to eat something in the room. The only place to sit in the room was a swing (cool feature) or the bed that was low to the ground. We did not spend much time in the room though except sleeping, so this was not a big deal for us.
The maven was so amazing!!! Leo was our favorite employee- he was so welcoming and helpful with recommendations and fun things to do. He made our trip amazing!!! Everyone was super friendly and it was such a beautiful hotel with lots to do around it.
The location of the property is excellent, and the rooms are loft style and minimal but very comfortable. Was having a staycation with the husband! Service was great and Maya was awesome!!! I would def come through here again
The Maven is a beautifully designed hotel in a great location of Denver but the best part of the entire stay was the staff. Every single person I encountered from housekeeping to management went above and beyond every expectation I had, Leo, Leo, Leo is the most helpful person i have ever met in the hotel industry, if you are thinking of booking at The Maven, do it, you will not regret it!
This place is awesome! We traveled with a group of friends and could not have picked a better place to stay. The atmosphere is incredible! So many good places to eat and drink within walking distance. The hotel bar was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and Leo at the front desk was more than helpful. He was our go to guy far anything. I will be back sooner than later.
Our group met Leo upon arrival at the maven hotel. He was a great resource for local knowledge on restaurants and things to do. He was extremely friendly and a very hard worker. The hotel was very nice too. Staff was helpful. Tons of things to do within walking distance.
Very cool place in a great location. Website could have had more details about the shared space with the Milk Market and Ally. Very pricy and could have been better focused on some details. For example, housekeeping only makes the bed and changed out towels. The room needed vacuuming and we left tips, but they never did it. We were out of tissues, so they left a new box under the counter, but didn’t put it in the case on the counter. We also had trouble finding the place because there is no sign, so when we called, we were given instructions to look for a valet stand. It would have helped if they told us the landmarks book ending the hotel, since there was no sign. It was just little things like that, which for the price, just should have been crisper. I would recommend for a trendy hotel in a great location.…
The Maven is a absolute treat. The hotel location is centrally located in a lovely part of downtown. Located within the Dairy Block you don’t have to go far for coffee and food and if you venture out there are some amazing restaurants nearby. The rooms are beautifully decorated, well kept and so modern. We absolutely loved the courtesy car, it made moving around Denver so easy. The staff was incredibly helpful. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. I wish we could have stayed longer.
