We reserved a room at the Maven for our daughters club VB tournament in March which ended up being cancelled due to the Corona Virus. We still decided to take the trip. The folks at the Maven were more than accommodating - calling us to make sure we were aware of the tournament being cancelled and informing us that we would be reimbursed we well. We told them we were on our way there! The front desk staff were WONDERFUL! Our accommodations were also WONDERFUL! Our daughters club coach told us about this hotel from last years tournament and gave it rave reviews, she was spot on. This hotel had a great vibe, a few small stores and a variety of delicious eateries. Every food option we tried we really enjoyed! The location was central to everything we needed and they offered a car service anywhere within a 2 mile radius. Everyone was so helpful and aimed to please. Valerie and Cassidy at the front desk were just amazing with their suggestions and their concern for us to have a great stay. Really terrific ladies that truly did make our stay perfect!!! Can’t wait to go back someday, we just loved the hotel, the staff, the eateries and the dairy block area.

From the day I called the reservations to the day I checked out - our stay could not have been more worthwhile. Arrival was way early then the routine checkin time and the room was made available and we asked to switch to other room - was done with a smile. Great vibe, hip and artsy decor and decent size rooms and spacious bathrooms added to the comfort of our stay. The Valet service - for free rides within 2 mile radius worked out great! We used the service quite a bit, and each driver was friendly, courteous and professional. Location was great - lot of things to do and explore at walkable distances. Having a market right on the main floor - had many dining options which was great. Special shout out to Maria & Cassidy for their friendly and courteous service!!! And a big "SPECIAL" shout out to Valerie to make us feel right at home with her big friendly and welcoming smile!!! Thank you all!! Was a wonderful experience overall!!!

Over all very cool set up and very warm staff ... rooms are nicely done and spacious ... the mattress though ... horrible investment. Might want to look into that... otherwise amazing location. The bar and restaurants in the lobby and in the area are all legit good. I’d recommend it.

This hotel is a nice concept and has decent rooms but it is really impossible to stay there and not interact with the staff. I’ve never had this happen before but the staff actually made our trip probably one of the worst trips we’ve ever had. We arrived at 11:30am and were told that they were going to work on cleaning the room so we could check back in after an hour. I reiterated that my husband and I had a 1.5yr old and really needed a room to get her down for a nap- 12:30pm, “still cleaning the room”.. 1:30pm, “still cleaning”.. 2:30pm, “the staff is on break, so most likely your room will be ready at 4pm”. No joke- we didn’t get the room until 3:50pm. I called around 3pm and finally lost my temper and only then did the manager Meriwhether offer to “downgrade my room” so I could “get in a room quickly”. I couldn’t believe I was paying $255 a night and getting this kind of service. No offers for anything to help while we waited 4.5hours for a room! The worst part was the manager Meriwhether - she was condescending, patronizing and really tart about the whole thing. Honesty shocked that a young girl would speak to her customers in such a patronizing way- as if we’ve never stayed at a hotel before and didn’t understand the check in process. My husband, who never loses his temper, had lost it at the end by the time we got the room. Truly a terrible way to start our trip. Throughout the trip, we had more issues. Valet staff never at their stand- when we checked in, the valet guy actually asked us if we could push our own bag cart up to our room because he was too busy!! Multiple times went outside in the cold and snow to find no staff and no car. Again-Not what you expect when you pay $45 a night for overnight parking with valet. The concept of the hotel is a good idea, but it really only works if the staff is competent and they truly aren’t- and they don’t seem to care about that either. Spend your money elsewhere. Trust me- I’ve been to over 35+ countries and have never had this kind of terrible experience.. even in 3rd world countries.

The Maven was a big hit! It’s in a great location with plenty of easy walkable areas. It’s a unique property with very cool art and decor. The Dairy Block inside offers all sorts of food and bev options. Be sure to take advantage of the free cup of coffee from Huckleberry each morning and the free margarita/beer/wine from 4-7pm in the cute airstream inside the building each night. Included in your room rate is the house car, a big SUV, that takes you around Denver within a 2 mile radius. Jesse, from the valet, is extremely personable and goes above and beyond. He helped us immensely in our Denver city search for the perfect place to live. John is great too. Don’t forget to use the 15% off your purchase at almost all locations inside the dairy block. Great value for the price with the amenities included. Just don’t park your car b/c it’s $45/night. We will definitely stay here again next time we need a Denver hotel.
