Love staying here! Rooms are extremely comfortable... soft pillows & perfect soaps & shampoo. Everything is walking distance. We usually goto a few baseball games and try out some new beers from the bars around.

This hotel has so much to offer. The location Is perfect for those without a car, as it offers walking access to wonderful food and other retail conveniences. The front desk staff went above and beyond at every turn to make sure our stay met our expectations. From honoring our room request, to helping us get housekeeping supplies, to even loaning me a stapler, they were always so pleasant to help with each request.

The room was spacious, the mattress was very comfortable, the bathroom was much larger than I expected, and there was plenty of storage. Given that it was 100° on several occasions during our visit, the efficient air conditioning was much appreciated. I do wish it had a microwave in addition to the refrigerator, but that seems to be a common issue among Denver hotels.

The only issue I had was the inconsistency in housekeeping. Each day of our 6 night stay we would leave the room by 8:30 AM and return approximately 4:30 PM. Three days the trash had been emptied and the towels replaced, one day a member of housekeeping knocked on the door at 5:30 to tell us they were skipping us because they were behind, and two consecutive days they did nothing. One day I had to go down to the front desk to get toilet paper as there was no reserve roll and what was in the room when we arrived was less than a quarter roll.

I realize that sounds like a lengthy complaint, but it really was a minor inconvenience compared to how much of a positive everything else was. Overall, I like that the elevator requires a key card for access, I like the location, I like the friendly front desk staff, and I like the layout and condition of the room. And even though the hotel was at or near capacity, we never heard another guest while in our room. It really was amazing just how peaceful the stay was.

Another plus was the fact that we were able to use IHG points to book the reservation. That ability to book using points, combined with all of the other positives, make this my go to Denver Hotel location.

The hotel is clean and updated. We stayed for 2 nights with our family. The room had 2 queens and was perfect. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was very kind and friendly. We needed towels and a new remote and they sent someone up right away to help us. You can communicate with them via text which was handy. The location was perfect because you can grab scooters or walk 1 block to the free bus and get to the main attractions.

Great and responsive staff. We had an issue in our room after our first night - we had heard an enormous noise very early in the morning so investigated and found nothing to be aware of. However when we woke in the morning we found that the floor was completely wet and there was water lying all over the room. We found our when we called to request assistance that the occupant of the room next to us had come in drunk and managed to pull the toilet system off the adjoining wall - their room was fixed same night but water had managed to find a route into our room (nb it was clean water!). We had a very quick response and Curtis was in the room looking at the situation and asking about any damages within 5 minutes. He then came back with the required drying machines and had a new room for us which we were transferred to within 20 minutes. Curtis also replaced our wet items and arranged for items to be cleaned dried and returned to us same day. He was so helpful and understanding as was the manager at the front desk who looked after us and made sure the rest of our visit was without incident. Despite this item we both enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again.

McArthur3, This was a very big deal to us when this happened! It is such a shame when our hotel neighbors behave badly isn't it? I am so upset this happened. It could have all gone horribly wrong but I am so thrilled that Curtis was on the case! We all had to do some quick thinking that morning as not only was your room effected, the occupant actually did damage to several more rooms and the fitness center. We are certainly glad we had a good outcome and your stay was enjoyable. We do home you will come see us the next time you are in the states! Cheers! Amy Healy General Manager

Great location in LoDo near Coors Field and just steps away from Union Station which was very helpful in catching our early morning flight at 6am as there are trains that depart every 15 min. LoDo is a cool area to stay with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Also convenient to have a CVS right across the street. A shocking number of homeless folks roaming the area but never felt unsafe even late at night. The room was great with an extremely comfortable bed, plenty of pillows, minifridge and a spacious walk in shower. Despite location in the city and near the train station, no issues with noise. Parking lot adjacent to the hotel at $20/night. Front desk staff pleasant, welcoming and very helpful.

There are not enough words to describe the poor design and complete uselessness of a barn door on a bathroom. The door in our room was pulling the bolts that supported it out of the wall, making it rest on the floor, nearly impossible to move. To Indigo's credit, they sent maintenance to tighten the screws, which pulled back out of the wall the instant the door was moved again. When I complained a second time I was told "They're just really heavy," which, again, huh? A guest is expected to be able to move a 200lb fire hazard to use the toilet? Worse, even had it been newly hung and in pristine condition, a barn door hangs off of a protruding track on the wall. Meaning, one has no control over seeing, hearing, and smelling whomever is using the bathroom. Why is this so galling? A bathroom is literally the only place people expect full privacy. I was traveling with a film crew, co-workers. We were made to sit on the toilet and shower in front of each other because a barn doesn't actually close. I was offered a move to another room with a barn door toilet, and declined for the above reasons. I haven't even mentioned the haze, the actual fog, of smoke on our "smoke free" floor. We were forced to get high without consent as well. At check out I asked for a discount because of our bad experience, and was denied. Thank god for social media. Steer clear of this nightmare Joanna Gaines hotel.

You can take the train directly in from DIA and 37 minutes later you're right at Union Station. Fare as of May, 2021 was about $10 and half that for a senior over65.

Hotel is modern, rooms are basic. But there are a couple of design fails, at least in my room. The bathroom light, as far as I could tell, could only be activated by a master switch by the door that turns on other lights in the room. No one tells you how the lights work, indeed no one should have to tell you how the lights work. So if someone is napping or sleeping, you might wind up turning on the room light to be able to get the bathroom light.

Another really, really annoying thing was the alarm clock. Way too complicated. I work in the tech world and I couldn't get it to work. A challenge for management at this hotel: take your 5 most recently hired employees and challenge them to set the alarm. It's ridiculous. I spent a long time trying to figure it out and I couldn't do it.

Warm efficient check-in from Isaac. No restaurant at the hotel, but plenty of good selections in the neighborhood, including right around Union Station which is Denver's downtown gem.

I truly did enjoy my stay, but the other annoyance, and it's NOT petty is the $5.00 charge for a bottle of water that costs $1.00 outside the hotel. Whole Foods and CVS are right nearby.

Book with confidence and try to overlook the bathroom light issue, the expensive bottled water and the way-too complicated alarm clock.

Related to your not so pleasant experiences, I am sincerely sorry. I can't imagine your level of annoyance with the clock and guest room experience and truly areas you should not have to think about. Please know we are utilizing your feedback as training tool to be even more effective. We are much better and we hope to demonstrate that should your travels bring you back to our hotel. As a refresh, new look, and more are upon our restaurant and public space we hope to demonstrate a much more all around positive experience for you soon. Sincerely, Nick Francis General Manager

We flew into Denver for the start of a two week trip to the west. The light rail system from DEN is easy and inexpensive to use and brings you right to Union Station downtown. We were taking the California Zephyr train to Salt Lake City the next morning so the Hotel Indigo was the ideal place to stay. It is an easy one block walk after arriving at Union Station and an as easy walk the next morning to board the Amtrak train. The hotel is modern, clean and staffed with knowledgeable and friendly people. Close to restaurants and entertainment it proved an ideal spot to start our trip.

I visited Denver for only a short time but would eagerly return to this hotel on a future trip. The location so close to Union Station makes it a breeze to get to and from the airport on the direct train. If you might attend a game at Coors field or any of the many events in downtown Denver you are in such a great location.

Indigo is located around the corner across the tracks from Union Station which is not only a transportation hub but a culinary destination. We went for a special dinner at The Mercantile. We travelled with our dog, black lab + mystery, and she was welcomed at the hotel (ask about pet fees before making a booking). The River Walk is also just around the corner and we grabbed a cup of coffee at the Landscap Kaffe (sp?) also around the corner and walked down by the river Platte. It was too early to shop at REI so yes, that is also right there. A CVS across the street and a Whole Foods, yea, around the corner so everything within reach. Overnight parking was $30 for self-park and super convenient because it is linked to the hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful which is worth mentioning as that is noI longer these days.
