Can't say enough wonderful things about the High Lonesome experience! The staff made us feel like family, the food was outstanding, the property is stunning and the fishing was incredible. We came up for fishing but will definitely be back from some bird hunting as well!

This place is incredible! The scenery -- the mountains and valleys -- take your breath away. The staff is utterly terrific and attentive and quickly you feel like part of their family. The food is divine and with huge portions you'll never go hungry. The cabins/houses have fully stocked kitchens w/beverages (incl. wine) and snacks at no extra cost. They... More

Our trip to High Lonesome was spectacular! We've never been to a ranch before and really didn't know what to expect. From the moment we arrived we felt how special this place is and were warmly welcomed -- even into the kitchen for the behind the scenes tour! The fishing was amazing for my husband and son. My son lives... More

Arriving in the valley of The High Lonesome Ranch alone is worth the trip! Set between multiple verging valley's as far as the eye can see. Natural pristine grounds with a staff that fits right in. The quality of the Main House and all the Guest Houses are of the highest standards perfectly constructed for the ranch's style and aesthetic.... More

The ranch welcome was so warm and relaxed. It was like visiting a high end family run ranch (that was not "stuffy"). We felt very spoilt and cared for from the moment we arrived. The food was phenomenal and there was LOTS of it. We were lucky with the weather given it was May (could have been raining but was... More

My parents have been going to The High Lonesome Ranch for years and they finally got my husband and I up there for our first fly fishing trip. It was amazing. The scenery, the house, the food, the drinks, the everything. John Andrews was just amazing taking on some newbies to the sport and he immediatley noticed that I was... More
