My Mom passed away 2 years ago & my 93 year old Dad moved in with us. We don't get away very often but our son who lives in Boulder offered to take care of my Dad on our 39th Wedding Anniversary. I wanted to find something unique but close to Colo. Springs so I looked at the reviews in... More

We did not stay here, but it was recommended by friends to check it out when in town.....the owner gave us a tour, passed on the history, showed us some rooms and it's worth a quick stop......just a block from town, you can park your car and walk everywhere.....

We'd go back in a second. The BEST part of our stay in Cripple Creek. We are not belittling Cripple Creek but this was wonderful. The host and hostess and so friendly and helpful. You are allowed to visit the other rooms and tour areas that aren't occupied. Every room we saw was great. In an old building like this... More

This was by far the best B&B we have stayed at. It is great shape for an 1896 school house! Very authentic. Cookies and coffee were available all day. The managers were awesome and the food fantastic! A shorty walk everywhere. Only place we'll stay in Cripple Creek!

The building is carefully and tastefully decorated for contemporary needs. The building dates from the 1800's but the rooms and hotel lounge areas are luxuriously decorated. Breakfast is very well presented with home made products. The hosts are wonderful and the location is perfect. This hotel combines top quality amenities that upscale hotel chains offer with the warmth and grandeur... More

We are glad that you appreciated all of the history that we have tried to preserve from this old high school. We have tried to blend the old with what our guests want to experience in modern ammenities. Hope to see you again. More

We're asking our family to give us experiences these days vs more "stuff." Carr Manor was such a gift and what a wonderful one it was! Our room Number 1 was quite fine although various options are available throughout this boutique hotel. We're telling more and more people about this little gem. We're now being asked what we'd like for... More

We spent one night at the Carr Manor. Made our reservations on-line so ending up in this great place was really just luck. The place is FANTASTIC! From many years ago I remembered that Roy Rogers & Gail Evens lived in Apple Valley, CA. Gary & Wini (the innkeepers) are from Apple Valley where he was a home builder. We... More

I thought the Roy Rogers room was great as a big RR fan. My wife thought the room was wonderful. The entire building is great with it's history and preservation. The hosts were fantastic. Breakfast was perfect. What else can we say. We plan to make another trip to Cripple Creek in the future. We will be staying at Carr... More

Spent one night at Carr Manor. This is a great B&B. They have restored the old High School, so it has a ton of history and character. We stayed in the Principles Office. The room was wonderful. Really big and spacious. A private bathroom, comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and they accommodated my gluten-free restrictions. Would definitely go back.
