We had a great time and we're hosted graciously by Marcia. The house is beautiful and within a short drive or walking distance to all things Crestone. Breakfast included amazing homemade quiche and muffins. We had a fabulous time.

What a magnificent getaway place. Marcia was so friendly, accommodating and informative. We stayed 3 nights. Marcia made the best breakfasts too. The french toast was delicious! We hiked the trails close to B&B. Beautiful meadow along hike. We drove to Great Sand Dunes an hour away. The Coll House was quaint, quiet and so relaxing. The first floor room has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot and toaster oven. I could have stayed a good week here. If you need an off the grid retreat to refresh...this is the place. Although she provides Wi-Fi, I suggest a getaway without technology. Thank you Marcia for a great weekend!

Marcia owns and runs this delightful b&b in the magical town of Crestone. Spotlessly clean. Delicious garden to table breakfast and just a wonderful experience. The dryness was bothering me on the first night so Marcia gave us a humidifier and ensured it was filled even when we were out for the day. We will definitely return!!

We had a great time staying at this place. The room was wonderful. Super clean, great water pressure, and 2 beds! We loved the outdoor spaces to relax and the location is A+. The breakfast is a steal for $10! You get a ton of healthy fresh local food and getting to talk to the innkeeper is worth it in itself. Anyone with an electric car - there is a normal outlet available which is at a premium in Crestone! Amazing view of the night sky because of absolutely zero light pollution!

The Coll House is a gem; so’s the landscape and so’s the proprietor. There’s not a whole hell of a lot going on in Crestone, but if not a whole hell of a lot is what the Dr. ordered, this is just the place. Truth is, with just a little will, there’s quite a bit nearby, and with zero traffic and unlimited beauty. - Taos NM 2.5 hours - Santa Fe NM 3 hours - Great sand dunes national park 1 hour - Salida (rafting, horseback and skiing) 1 hr And if you’re ready to test your wits in the wild within a ten minute walk, grab a backpack, and you’re in it, at 9000 feet. Crestone is home to deer, elk, mountain lion, and bear, and the trails and hikes are world-class and the views of the valley, gorgeous. The light is phenomenal, and you can feel the energy or vibe or hum of the place (and in yourself) like being plugged into a small battery. You’ll eat well, sleep like royalty and wonder about things you maybe hadn’t before. If you want to try Colorado in a slightly different way, try Crestone and the Coll House, and don’t forget to ask Marcia about MSD and Human Design—unexpected, enlightening and fascinating souvenirs you can take home and carry forever. Say hello to the hummingbirds for me. J.
